A Review On Manchester United FC
Manchester United has been the dominant force since the Premier League in 1992. Red Devils, the nickname of Manchester United, has won 12 Premier League titles and two Champions League under manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
At first, the club was named Newton Heath L & YR F.C. which was founded in 1878. The name then changed to Manchester United in 1902. The Red Devils won the first title in 1908. But MU began to have sustained success in the 1950s, after being handled by legendary manager Sir Matt Busby.
Busby was able to give three titles in the decade of the 50s, and made MU the first English club to compete in the European Cup, where they lost in the semi-finals to Real Madrid in 1957.
After Busby resigned in 1969, no manager can approach his success until Ferguson arrived in 1986. For nearly 3 decades as MU manager, Ferguson has built a phenomenal record that helped Manchester United win more league titles than Liverpool. Some MU players of the 90s such as Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, and Phil Neville became an inseparable part of the club's glory.
