It really depends how you treated demo trading. For me I used it for back testing my newly created strategy. The boring part of demo trading is that no matter how many good profits you made there meant nothing because you are just using virtual money. If you want real profits only live account can give you that.

To be frank, in few months using demo account, i find it boring. If i gain, it is just a demo only. Not earning any profit in real at all. While using real live trading account, we can create earning as soon as possible. That's the spirit to gain more profit. If demo account, the spirit to trade will not be so strong enough.

this is right that there are a lot of difference between demo and real trading. i demo their is no the real condition like greed or fear of loss so hear any one can do good. i think in the very beginning demo is needed to learn the basics of trading then for becoming expert he may start live trading in micro account. here he will get every aspect of live trading so that if some one can make profit here then he can make profit with any amount invested.

demo accounts will never get bored played by newbie traders if we set the target at each opening his account .. for example. we set the target to be able to master the new system today. so when some of the indicators we will confirm the open position .. the next day after that day we also set a target for the other systems .. and after a week of our evaluation. which system is right for us and we enjoy trading therein ..

In demo trading we just train and get to know our strategy trading software. Of course it will feel boring because we could not get a profit in the form of real money or having an actual loss. But however trading with a demo account should still be done so that we have enough stock to plunge in the real account.
