Hello , for me when i opene a wrong postion which is almost rare i closed it immediatly even if it was loosing because of the high spread , i can't risk living it opened in forex there is nothing impossible, thank god i put my take profit and stop loss before opening any order that way if the order is wrong the mt4 reject it and i notice the mistake , its a game of focus , always stay focused and u will never open wrong postions.

Is it really opening a wrong position or the market works against you? Because I don't think I have ever opened a position I hadn't speculated but the market can still move against you and lead you to losses and hence the need to sometimes hedge if you aren't sure about the direction in order to prevent losses. difficult for the newbie trader like me to make an entry in the right position. this is usually due to impatience in the trade. in fact rarely because of doubt and nervousness so quickly closed position. so fast that the funds in the trading account is reduced.

when I found out I had just opened the wrong position entry then I immediately take a look to the higher timeframe and the possibility margin that I have to cover it? if sufficient, then I let the floating minus, but if not then I immediately opened a new position in the opposite direction to the previous position.

Your thread is good. In my thinking this is very serious issue. If any bogy open the wring entry point. In my thinkingbif any trader open the wrong entry than they are read the market analysis. After complete analysis than they are decided that close the order with the loss or wait the market trend.
