I use general scalping, which gives a quick return on investment. I take 1 min-15 min from time. Because my capital is small, the transaction so fast includes my small investment. Moreover, this has a low risk. If there is a loss, a small loss If there is a profit, a small profit, that keeps my body and soul together.

The solution is that traders should not only rely on technical analysis but also fundamental analysis. If a trader only analyzes the market technically he will not be able to find out about current market news. As a result, the sudden spike and violent market situation tends to cause huge losses to them. So traders should know about the market from different aspects that analyze it differently.

i have a question ,, as we know that the most of us here are just using technical analysis in their trading ,, my question is ,, do you use that kind of analysis alone or do you combine it with other methods ?? the majority are just depending on Technicals but we loose our money ,, so what is the solution ??

Mistakes are much fact on Forex trading, You have to avoid mistakes on Forex trading. We know that Forex is global online trading center all over the world where anyone from any country easily can make trade here and can make huge sum of profit within quick time. You have to avoid it.
Well experienced person who know all about Forex and its trading system easily can make trade here and can make huge sum of profit within short time.

When I'm new, I'm very worried about that which method is best for my trading. I faced many losses due to low experience but now adopted the method of short time trading. The advantage is low in this method but the risk level is also low. With this method, we only need to control our greed to gain success in trading.

The method I use in trading is to use a strategy to wait. Wait for me to think I'll be able to get a good price and then make a trade position and be able to minimize the risk of loss that I can accept. Waiting is a very good trading strategy to make a profit

I use the moving average indicator, the signal software for my trade, it is very useful to us that the indicator gives a good profit and also finds a good profit strategy method so that this method is also useful for you because the plus point strategy is everywhere You go to the market. Do not bother you can benefit.

I use a method that is also simple to me, I do not know or learn any strategy, I just trade like a regular trader, make a trade to make a profit. I think before we learn so many strategies we have to learn the basic rules for trading that keep our margin safe. This is the most important thing that must be considered trader.

Fortunately, all my strategies were tested on demo accounts and did not cause any damage to my personal savings. Personally, I'm not much of an indicator. I only use technical strategies to analyze.
If there is any news in the release I will stop trading for a while. But I think if we can combine technical and fundamental analysis.
I think the result will be better.
but we have much to learn to be able to combine these two strategies

There are various methods for trading but I think the trader should use a simple method.
If you keep your startegy simple then you will benefit.
Price action is the best trading strategy for traders.
Traders need to analyze with technical analysis.
Traders must understand candle charts and chart patterns to become successful traders.

when I started a forex trading business so I just traded the analysis
and forex market analysis indicators when I had a good forex experience
so I realized it was not at all dependent on the indicators because
I had lost a lot of time with the indicator analysis
so I thought we should trade to make our own analysis on market position and before position
and news and signal to other traders in order to trade better

Because the currency markets are really tough then the only reliance
on technical analysis will not save you capital in this market.
Therefore, I feel resilient in this market all, we must constantly perform technical
and basic analysis to encourage the entry of incoming and outgoing signals higher permanently.

I use Moving average, Parabolic SAR, RSI and Average Directional Index on my chart. In addition, I always keep attention to the latest related forex news. I find out when the news rises, so I follow the charts at once. If I find a market trend in accordance with the news that I enter the market. I pay attention to the average movement, because I think sometimes only the average movement is sufficient to understand market trends.

Hello traders ,, hope you are doing well all ,,
i have a question ,, as we know that the most of us here are just using technical analysis in their trading ,, my question is ,, do you use that kind of analysis alone or do you combine it with other methods ?? the majority are just depending on Technicals but we loose our money ,, so what is the solution ??

Actually I use my method to do Forex. We know that day by day Forex getting more and much popular all over the world where anyone from any country easily can make trade here and can make huge sum of profit within a short time which is much easier from any other business all over the world.
I made systems myself and then I applied it myself and max times I won trade

To gain profit in the Forex trading market,
traders must use all analytical methods ie Technical, Fundamental and Sentimental analysis. Traders must make simple things through analytical methods for better decision making. But it's also a fact that whatever method you choose to trade, more than once in a lifetime a trader will face a loss in any situation.

I use Support & Resistance because Trading support and resistance is the core method.
Support and Resistance can be calculated used for different time periods.
which supports intra day stock trading or stock indexes,
I found the Pivot Floor Trader calculator to work best.
On each day chart we can usually see the defensive zone and hold it by looking back several months.

Before when there was little experience then
I tested so many strategies and systems and
still I did not get that very profitable because jump one by one. I think we need to test such a system more time before jumping again after several tests and now I try to do this, not to jump.

Ill admit it; Ive developed a little soft spot for PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP) lately. Ive liked its story of steady growth, margin expansion and a nice dividend, but more recently, I liked what I saw as a buy setup heading into the Q3 report. Unfortunately, the stock didnt behave the way I thought it would and it plunged right through the 200DMA without the bulls even putting up a fight. But all is not lost as PEPs Q3 was nice and I think the longer-term bull case is still intact.

LONDON, Oct 5 (Reuters) - The dollar edged higher against a basket of currencies on Thursday as investors consolidated positions after a recent rise, with minutes from the European Central Bank's latest meeting likely to be the key event of the day.

Despite a raft of dollar positive news in recent days ranging from positive economic data to potential U.S. tax reforms, the greenback has gained less than 3 percent over the last month against a broad basket of currencies .DXY .

Gavekal strategists said any major U.S. tax reform or significant changes in Chinese policy at the upcoming party Congress in Beijing after it cut reserve requirements over the weekend, could be the catalyst for more dollar gains.

The AUD/USD plunged on Thursday after fresh U.S. economic data pointed to solid U.S. growth. However, losses were limited on concerns over Friday’s U.S. Non-Farm Payrolls report.

In economic news, the U.S. trade deficit fell in August, coming in at -42.4 billion, slightly better than the -42.7 billion forecast and last month’s -43.6 billion read. Exports of goods and services rose to the highest level in more than 2 years.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Reserve fined HSBC Holdings PLC $175 million on Friday for "unsafe and unsound practices" in its foreign exchange trading business, the latest in a series of fines for banks that fail to prevent market manipulation.

HSBC failed to monitor chat rooms where traders swapped information about investment positions, the U.S. central bank said, echoing findings by other regulators investigating the $5 trillion-a-day foreign exchange or FX market.

Activity in the U.S. manufacturing sector unexpectedly grew at a faster rate in the month of September, according to a report released by the Institute for Supply Management on Monday.

The ISM said its purchasing managers index climbed to 60.8 in September from 58.8 in August, with a reading above 50 indicating growth in the manufacturing sector. Economists had expected the index to dip to 50.8.

The single currency weakened after the minutes of the ECB's September policy meeting showed that members remain concerned over the euro's volatility and some suggested that the economy may still need substantial stimulus for a little longer period of time.
The news came as investors have been hoping the ECB will begin reducing its quantitative easing program after its October meeting, following comments pointing in that direction from the central bank's president Mario Draghi last month.

The Dollar/Yen broke early in the session on Wednesday, but made a solid recovery before closing lower for the session. The Forex pair weakened as investors positioned themselves ahead of Friday’s U.S. Non-Farm Payrolls report, while reacting to fresh economic data and a speech later in the session by Fed Chair Janet Yellen. Another strong rally in the U.S. stock markets limited losses.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Oil prices rose about 2 percent on Thursday as signs Saudi Arabia and Russia would limit production through next year pushed the U.S. benchmark back above $50 a barrel.

The news outweighed Wednesday's U.S. data showing record U.S. exports and the return of production at a major Libyan oilfield.

Brent futures settled at $57 a barrel, up 2.2 percent, or $1.20, while U.S. crude rose 81 cents, or 1.6 percent, to end at $50.79.

LONDON, Sept 20 (Reuters) - The dollar edged towards 2-1/2-year lows hit earlier this month on Wednesday, as investors waited to see whether U.S. ratesetters would signal tighter policy or hold off because of tepid inflation data.
The U.S. Federal Reserve concludes a two-day policy meeting on Wednesday, and investors are looking for clues on a potential December rate hike and cuts in a massive balance sheet run up through years of post-crisis money-printing.
But caught between a lull in U.S. inflation and a strengthening global economy, the market is uncertain whether the Fed will signal its third interest rate hike of the year or back off until prices rise more briskly. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL2N1LZ1G4
"Fed members have become less hawkish of late, and that has started to weigh on the dollar," said OANDA analyst Craig Erlam.
"We are likely to find out today if (the dollar) can go any lower or if it has bottomed out. It is a big test."

European markets were broadly higher on a country specific basis Wednesday, but a broad pan-European based index snapped a nine session winning streak as the Spanish market fell sharply on concerns over increased turmoil from the Catalonian secession movement. While the Spanish government has called the secession illegal and vows not to recognize it, Catalonian officials vow they will announce the secession in a few days, which would spark the worst political crisis in Spain in decades. Surprisingly, the rest of Europe has shrugged off the issue, with Germany’s DAX hitting a new record high Wednesday. Meanwhile, London’s FTSE snapped a five session winning streak as it settled just slightly lower in reaction to the Pound recovering following the release of better than expected services PMI for September in the U.K.
U.S. markets struggled to remain in positive territory early after rumors emerged that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was resigning, and that he had referred to President Trump as a “moron”. The Secretary held a news conference late Wednesday morning to refute the claims, and that helped stabilize markets enough that they closed in positive territory, setting new record closing highs once again. It was notable that the defensive utilities and real estate sectors were the best performers, while the financial and technology sectors underperformed.
FOREX
EUR/USD
The pair remained tightly range bound on Wednesday, as the moderate weakness of the USD was offset by the turmoil in Spain, leaving this pair little changed at the close. The 1.1800 level is acting as resistance, and not only will that likely continue to be the case, but we could see the pair begin heading lower if we get an actual statement of secession from Catalonia.
GBP/USD
The pair tried to rise on Wednesday, but was unable to do so in the face of the resistance at the 1.3300 level and instead dropped back to end the day basically unchanged. There is a good chance traders are willing to spend some time on the sidelines as Thursday will bring twp Federal Reserve member speeches, as well as two MPC voting member speeches, and any of the four speeches could have an impact on this pair.
Cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrencies remained lightly under pressure on Wednesday, with Bitcoin and Litecoin both retreating 1.8% near the end of the day, while Ethereum gained 0.6%. Smaller coins made larger movements, and the Ripple coin remains one of the strongest cryptocurrencies currently, although that could change rapidly if Bitcoin regains its strength.
Commodities
Metals
Precious metals were mixed on Wednesday, with gold rebounding from recent lows, while silver settled lower on the day. Gold had been much higher, but fell back when the U.S. reported the highest services PMI in 12 years. Still, the yellow metal held onto some of its gains by the close, posting an increase for the first time this week.
Oil
Crude fell on Wednesday, with the U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude contract dropping below the $50 a barrel level for the first time in two weeks. Prices were briefly higher late Wednesday morning after the U.S. Energy Information Administration announced crude inventory levels had fallen by 6 million barrels in the previous week, which was four times the expected drop. But prices dropped back into the red as traders were more concerned with the reported rise in OPEC output for September.
Indices
Nasdaq
The Nasdaq closed just slightly higher on Wednesday, underperforming major indices as the technology sector struggled. The sector has been trending lower for much of September, and while it has had some good sessions, it appears that trend hasn’t yet finished playing out. Shares of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), which is the largest component of the Nasdaq, finished 0.7% lower as investors continue to have doubts about the most recent product launch for the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.
IBEX 35
The Spanish benchmark index fell 2.9% on Wednesday, suffering its worst one day decline since June 2016 following the Brexit vote. The index also dropped below the 10,000 level for the first time since March as investors are fretting over the potential for Catalonian officials to go through with the resolve to split from Spain. Spanish banks were hardest hit by the turmoil, and promise to be targeted by short sellers if Catalonia does announce a formal secession.
Stocks
Banco Santander (MC:SAN)
Investors could be looking at a good buying opportunity in this Spanish bank, which had been performing quite well this year, and especially in September, prior to the recent Catalonian secession referendum vote. The stock is down roughly 4.5% so far this week, and could continue falling for the rest of the week, but should rebound as the situation stabilizes. It is still one of the best performing Spanish bank stocks, and with the dividend yield now to 4.2% should see additional support. On the other hand, if Catalonian officials announce the secession from Spain expect a sharp drop in this and all Spanish banks, in which the selling could last for weeks.

South Africa’s main stock indexes closed at record highs on Thursday as investors, taking their cue from emerging market peers, piled into everything from banks and miners to telecoms.

(Bloomberg) -- Google is preparing to up****e its security tools for online accounts to better insulate users from cyberattacks and politically motivated hacks, according to two people familiar with the company’s plan.
The Alphabet Inc. company next month will begin offering a service called the Advanced Protection Program that places a collection of features onto accounts such as email, including a new block on third-party applications from accessing data. The program would effectively replace the need to use two-factor authentication to protect accounts with a pair of physical security keys. The company plans to market the product to corporate executives, politicians and others with heightened security concerns, these people said.
The Gmail messages of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman, were famously hacked last year, along with the databases of the Democratic National Committee. Podesta met with the House Intelligence Committee in June to discuss the hack.
Google released software in 2014 for a USB Security Key, a device designed to improve existing security measures, like two-factor authentication. Two-factor authentication involves using a second code or password, for example, to log onto email.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Progress Energy, the Canadian unit of Malaysian state energy firm Petroliam Nasional Berhad, said on Thursday it was looking to sell its Deep Basin oil and gas asset in the Canadian province of Alberta.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that Petroliam Nasional, or Petronas, had enlisted BMO Capital Markets to advise on the sale of the asset, citing documents on the bank's website.

"Progress regularly reviews its assets to ensure alignment with the company's strategy," it said in an emailed statement to Reuters, adding that it decided to sell its Deep Basin asset following the most recent evaluation.

The sale would allow Progress to focus on future investments in its North Montney assets in Canada's province of British Columbia, which represents "significant growth opportunity" for the company, it said.

The potential sale marks a further retreat by Petronas in Canada after it scrapped plans for the $29 billion Pacific NorthWest liquefied natural gas export project in British Columbia in July.

While Progress' Alberta asset produces oil and gas, the North Montney asset is rich in gas resources. Petronas acquired Progress Energy for $5.87 billion in 2012.

After the cancellation of the Pacific NorthWest project, Petronas had said it was looking at other ways to generate revenue from its North American gas assets.

Thursday’s data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed retail sales dropped 0.6% in August, confounding expectations for a 0.3% increase. July was also revised down to show a 0.2% fall.
The 0.8% slump in July and August is the biggest back-to-back fall since October 2010. The AUD/USD fell from a one-week high of 0.7875 set on Wednesday.
Australia’s retail sector had shown some signs of life earlier in the year, but that recovery was short-lived as sluggish wages and household incomes sapped spending power. The data casts a shadow on the Reserve Bank of Australia’s forecasts for the economy to accelerate at 3% over the next two years.

he fourth quarter begins with a mild rally in the U.S. dollar. Monday’s U.S. economic reports were very strong with the ISM manufacturing index hitting a 13-year high. The data shows that factories are booming and prices are rising. Although part of this strength can be attributed to hurricane related supply-chain disruptions and energy costs, there is still underlying strength in the manufacturing sector as we’ve seen similar improvements in the Philadelphia and Chicago regions – two areas not affected by the recent hurricanes. Construction spending also increased 0.5% in August and is likely to rise further on rebuilding efforts. These positive reports along with new record highs in stocks should have driven USD/JPY to 113 and while the pair got very close to that level post data, the gains were given back quickly as bond traders struggle to keep yields up. The beginning and end of the month/quarter are always tricky to trade but this week could be a challenging one for the greenback with nonfarm payrolls expected to come in much lower. However between now and then, the market clearly prefers dollars over other currencies and as long as yields and stocks continue to rise, so will USD/JPY

FX today in Asia was mainly driven by the EUR price action, as the Catalan independence referendum news revoked political uncertainties plaguing the Euro area. As a result of the EUR/USD declines below 1.18 handle, the USD caught a solid bid-wave across the board. Meanwhile, the Yen failed to benefit for solid Japanese Tankan manufacturing surveys, while the Aussie remained better offered in a tight range amid mixed Aus fundamentals, while holidays in China and Australia also dampened the sentiment.

NEW YORK, Sept 19 (Reuters) - The dollar weakened against a basket of currencies on Tuesday in advance of a Federal Reserve meeting where policymakers are expected to decide on shrinking the central bank's $4.2 trillion in bond holdings.
The Fed's possible move to roll back stimulus further has not stemmed the greenback's weakness this year as other major central banks are considering steps either to slow their own bond purchases or raise interest rates.
Analysts widely anticipate Fed policymakers to announce a lowering of monthly bond purchases, starting in October, when their two-day meeting ends on Wednesday. They expect Fed officials would leave the door open for a rate increase at their Dec. 12-13 meeting. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL2N1LU21N

In the Second World War, the Allies contacted the French Resistance with the code ‘Mona Lisa kept her smile’. Wednesday’s monetary policy announcement reflected this sentiment well, allowing Indian corporates to ‘keep the smile’ as the policy is not hawkish and leaves hope intact for the future. As Raghuram Rajan once put it, the policy shows that the Reserve Bank of India is neither a hawk nor a dove, but an “owl”, keeping watch on data prints as they evolve. Officially, the RBI called its policy stance ‘neutral’.
The expectations from the policy were more on the stance than on rate action. It was a 100 percent consensus that this time there will be no rate cut or a liquidity measure, but it will the monetary policy stance of the RBI that will be of interest to the market. The RBI's gross value added estimate, its inflation assessment, and the take on the economic environment would be of relevance, as those would govern market sentiment. The MPC has stayed true to the expectations on the rate front. It has maintained the status quo in the backdrop of upside risks to inflation, moderating growth, lacklustre credit and deposit growth, hardening government securities' yields, and rupee depreciation.

The decision to exempt small exporters from furnishing a bank guarantee for shipping goods and services will help in reducing transaction time and cost, India’s export promotion body said.
Micro and small exporters will immensely benefited from this decision as they were struggling to get bank guarantees, the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) said in a statement.
“This is a much needed simplification which will help in reducing transaction time and cost of exporters,” the statement said.
The finance ministry on Friday stated that the government has decided to exempt small exporters from furnishing bank guarantee for shipping goods and services.
"We should ****ually move towards e-LUT (Electronic Legal Undertaking) which can be furnished online so as to eliminate any physical interaction with the tax authorities," the Finance Ministry said.
Under the Goods and Services Tax (GST), an exporter can get exemption from payment of IGST if he submits bonds or LUTs.

The Dollar/Yen surged early in the session on Monday, but backed off as the Forex pair approached last week’s high at 113.251. Nonetheless, it still managed to close higher for the session.

The USD/JPY settled at 112.751, up 0.295 or +0.26%.

The Dollar/Yen was primarily supported by rising U.S. Treasury yields, a stronger U.S. Dollar and increased demand for higher-yielding assets. The catalysts behind the strength on Monday were increasing expectations of a third Fed interest rate hike in December and stronger U.S. economic data.

U.S. Treasury yields rose on Monday amid growing optimism over tax reform from Washington and strong economic data.

(Bloomberg) -- Chinas drive to cut pollution could reduce economic growth by 0.25 percentage point in the next six months while boosting factory inflation, according to Societe Generale SA.
Production cuts to curb emissions and tougher nationwide environmental inspections will also support the profits of large industrial companies as producer prices rise, said Yao Wei, chief China economist at SocGen in Paris. She said the campaign will give a "notable supply shock" to the economy.
"The Chinese government has turned very serious about fighting pollution," Yao wrote in a note. It will be "more than a transitory objective for the current leadership. Modestly slower growth will be a necessary sacrifice for maintaining social stability over the medium term."
Authorities have intensified their anti-pollution drive before a twice-a-decade Communist Party Congress set to begin Oct. 18. The expansion hasnt yet shown signs of suffering for it, and economists surveyed by Bloomberg project a second-straight year of 6.7 percent growth.
Yao reiterated her view that leaders are likely to tolerate growth rates below 6.5 percent in 2018 and beyond. Thats the countrys longer-term growth target for the five years through 2020 as well as the target for this year, when policy makers have said theyre aiming for gross domestic product growth "of around 6.5 percent, or higher if possible in practice."

Senators and lawmakers are expected to agree on a single text bymid-October.

External commercial borrowings and funds raised through the domestic bond markets are steadily replacing bank credit. A paper released as part of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)‘s ‘Mint Street Memos’ series shows that more than half of the new debt raised in 2016 was raised from outside the Indian banking sector.
“In 2016, non-bank debt through corporate bonds, Commercial Paper (CPs) and External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs) accounted for more than half of the new debt funding,” said the paper authored by Apoorva Javadekar, research director at the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL).
The share of new non-bank credit to total new debt has risen steadily from around 20 percent in 2015 to around 53 percent in 2016.

The decision came after several companies and retailers body Confederation of All India Traders highlighted that they are still left with huge unsold stocks of pre-GST goods and need more time to clear that.
After implementing the Goods and Services Tax regime from July 1, the government had allowed use of stickers with revised rates, alongside the printed maximum retail price for pre-packaged items to reflect changes in selling price for three months till September 30.

(Bloomberg) -- “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” a 21st Century Fox Inc. comedy about British super-spies, returned to the No. 1 spot in North American theaters, helping cinema owners clinch a record September at the box office.
“The Golden Circle,” a sequel to the surprise 2015 hit, collected $16.94 million in U.S. and Canadian theaters, researcher ComScore Inc. said Monday. A final tally rearranged the top three films, pushing the Warner Bros. horror feature “It” to second place in its fourth weekend, with $16.9 million. A new Tom Cruise movie from Universal Pictures, “American Made,” opened in third place instead of second, with $16.78 million. The other new wide release Sony Corp.’s “Flatliners” placed fifth with $6.57 million.
After the worst summer in a decade, theater and studio executives are basking in a recovery, with several big pictures on tap that may extend the rebound. September closed with record sales of $708.9 million in North America, surpassing the old mark of $616.4 million set in 2015, according to ComScore. And the credit goes largely to “It” and Time Warner Inc.’s film division, which already plans a sequel.

Markets regulator SEBI has put off implementation of its directive "until further notice" that required listed firms to inform exchanges if they default on loan payments to banks and financial institutions.
In a circular, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said it has decided to defer implementation of its earlier directive "until further notice".
Last month, the regulator had directed listed companies to disclose from October 1 any payment defaults to banks and financial institutions within one working day of such a miss.
The move came against the backdrop of the government and the Reserve Bank of India stepping up efforts to tackle the menace of bad loans amounting to over Rs 8 lakh crore.
“Corporates in India are even today primarily reliant on loans from the banking sector. Many banks are presently under considerable stress on account of large loans to the corporate sector turning into stressed assets, non-performing assets (NPAs). Some companies have also been taken up for initiation of insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings,” SEBI had said.

According to Ketan Garodia, a member of the Central Railway Committee on Accidents, one key factor to look at is the huge increase in passenger traffic in that particular station. “Mill lands were allowed to be converted to commercial space and the number of people who travel to Elphinstone and Lower Parel has gone up by at least a 1,000 percent” he said.
It is a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

The lack of coordination does not end there. The railway authorities were not intimated about the change in policy allowing mill lands to be converted, he added.

(Bloomberg) -- The U.S. is communicating with North Korea about its nuclear program and testing Pyongyang’s appetite for negotiations, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in the first public acknowledgment by a senior administration official of direct contact on the matter.
A State Department spokeswoman later tamped down prospects for a breakthrough in the tense relations between Washington and Pyongyang.
Tillerson, speaking to reporters on Saturday after meeting Chinese officials in Beijing, insisted that the U.S. would never accept a nuclear-armed North Korea. His remarks offered the clearest glimpse so far into U.S. strategy, and suggested a willingness to get to the negotiating table with Kim Jong Un’s regime -- even after President Donald Trump tweeted in August that “talking is not the answer!”
“We are probing, so stay tuned,” Tillerson said. “We can talk to them, we do talk to them directly, through our own channels,” adding that the U.S. has “a couple, three channels open to Pyongyang.”
The U.S. doesn’t have an embassy in North Korea and often relays messages to the regime through the embassy of Sweden. Joseph Yun, Tillerson’s special representative for North Korea policy, has communicated privately with North Korea, often through Pyongyang’s mission to the United Nations in New York, but the exchanges were generally believed to be limited to the issue of detained Americans.

(Bloomberg) -- Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy risked a backlash in the court of international public opinion as images of riot police beating up voters in Catalonia and seizing ballot boxes provoked outrage on social media and beyond.
Responding to a constitutional court order that called the independence vote illegal, Rajoy sent thousands of police to restore public order. As forces deployed, camera phones beamed the confrontations to the world. In one video, broadcast by a local newspaper, a woman is seen being thrown down a flight of stairs. In another, police rip ballot boxes from the hands of would-be electoral officials.
After years of soft-pedaling his response to Catalan separatism to avoid exacerbating the problems, Rajoy is now threatening the full force of the state to obstruct the illegal plebiscite. But his attempt to negate the result may have instead given secessionists the international support they’ve craved, analysts said -- at a time their backing was at a five-year low.

(Bloomberg) -- China’s central bank said it will reduce the amount of cash lenders must hold as reserves from next year, with the size of the cut linked to the flow of funding to parts of the economy where credit is scarce.
The targeted measures apply to all major banks, 90 percent of city commercial banks, and 95 percent of rural commercial lenders, the People’s Bank of China said in a statement late Saturday. Cuts will range from 0.5 percentage point to 1.5 percentage point depending on how much business banks do with small enterprises, agricultural borrowers and startups. Foreign banks will also be eligible for the cut should they meet the requirements.
Further details:
Banks will enjoy 0.5 percentage point RRR cut if eligible lending exceeds 1.5 percent or more of their new lending in 2017
Deduction will be 1.5 percentage point if eligible lending reaches 10 percent or more of new lending in 2017, or if "inclusive finance" loans take up 10 percent of total outstanding loans in 2017
Rural commercial banks who meet an earlier requirement that at least 10 percent of new lending is local can receive a 1 percentage point reduction

Catalan President Carles Puigdemont said the crackdown had been an “unjustified, excessive and irresponsible use of violence.”
“It didn’t end Catalans’ desire to vote and decide freely about their future, but it has helped to answer all the questions we had to address today,” he said at a voting site near Girona that had been raided by the Civil Guard. “Today, the Spanish state lost.”
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy deployed thousands of police from outside Catalonia ahead of the vote to maintain public order, with the crisis already roiling his minority government.
The prime minister withdrew his budget from parliament last week after his Basque Nationalist allies signaled they would shoot down the bill in protest at his handling of Catalan demands. His job isn’t under any imminent threat, but his authority is compromised by his inability to legislate and some of his European partners may be shocked by the images from Barcelona today.
It’s unclear when or, indeed, if a result will be announced and no exit polls are planned, though those who do vote are likely to be overwhelmingly from the pro-independence camp. A non-binding vote in 2014, also held in defiance of the Spanish courts, saw 80 percent back a split from Spain on turnout of about 30 percent. In the most recent Catalan government poll in July, 35 percent of respondents said the region should become independent.

(Bloomberg View) -- The devastation in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Trump administration's slow response to it, and the president's outrageous and divisive attack on the mayor of San Juan, have highlighted two political obstacles facing the islanders: their lack of representation in Washington, and the lack of awareness that they are American citizens, too. The first problem can only be addressed through statehood, but the second is something Donald Trump can and should confront head-on.
Only about half of Americans know that Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens by birth, according to a recent poll. That matters not at all in terms of the assistance they need or the sympathy they deserve, but it affects public support for federal aid: 81 percent in the know support aid, compared to only 44 percent who see them as foreigners. And since island residents cannot vote in federal elections, for relief and aid in times of crisis they are dependent on the goodwill of their countrymen.
Past natural disasters have shown how difficult it can be to marshal political support for aid packages, and that’s when the affected states have full representation in Congress. In this case, not only do the affected territories lack representation, but they are also poorer than any U.S. state -- and more dependent on a single industry, tourism, which has now been destroyed.

(Bloomberg View) -- With the British prime minister calling London's refusal to extend Uber's license "disproportionate," and Uber's chief executive heading to London to talk to regulators, a compromise is on the offing. But it shouldn't give Uber a false sense of security: Isolated regulatory demands are not its biggest problem.
QuickTake Unicorns
Viewed in isolation, each of Uber's setbacks this year triggered a disproportionate response. Neither a to∂xic work culture, nor unequal gender representation, nor any of the specific legal or business issues that dragged down the ride-hailing company was lethal. Nor was any of these problems likely beyond former CEO Travis Kalanick's ability to fix or sweep under the rug, as he'd done for years. That all of the crises broke out at once was the result of an emotional backlash against the company's arrogant push for global dominance. Something akin to this backlash is also beginning to catch up with Facebook and Google. They've done nothing in particular terribly wrong, it's just the general perception of large, uncaring, overly powerful corporations running on unchecked ambition.

Trump sold tax reform plan that calls for sweeping tax cuts and a simplification of the tax code
US dollar strength could return in the fourth quarter as President Trump finally unveiled his tax reform plan, but the strength could just stay for weeks or months. We think the tax cut is not likely to be substantial enough to lift the consumption. Fed’s unwinding and its rates’ setting will be the driver for dollar’s long-term trend.

Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump’s admonishment of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson for “wasting his time’’ in seeking negotiations with North Korea further highlighted differences within the administration on how best to get Kim Jong Un to halt his nuclear weapons program.
The president’s remarks on Twitter came a day after Tillerson acknowledged for the first time that the U.S. is “probing” directly with the rogue nation. A State Department spokeswoman said there’s no contradiction in the U.S. position.
“I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man,” Trump posted Sunday to his 39.7 million followers on Twitter, using his pejorative nickname for Kim. “Save your energy Rex, we’ll do what has to be done!”

Global Commentary
Asian markets ended Friday mostly higher as investors squared up positions ahead of a week that will see several holiday market closures across the region. China linked markets rose ahead of the week long market closure on the mainland, and two day Hong Kong market closure. Japan ended flat Friday, but marked its best monthly performance of 2017, with the weaker Yen contributing heavily to that performance. Australia on the other hand marked its fifth consecutive losing month, its longest such in six years. European markets notched their seventh consecutive winning session and finished off with September as the best month of the year for equities. Banks led on Friday, as they have for most of September, with investors betting on rising interest rates in the U.S. Germany’s DAX had the best performance of the day after the unemployment rate in Germany fell to a record low of 5.6%. In London the FTSE also gained on strength from the banking sector, although gains were capped by a reduction in second quarter U.K. growth from 1.7% to 1.5%. U.S. markets gained on Friday, with technology shares leading as they extended their recent rally. The S&P 500, Nasdaq and Russell 2000 all finished at record levels, with the small cap Russell 2000 outperforming for the week as investors have been rotating back into the small cap sector following its summer slump. The prospect of rising interest rates in the U.S. has done little to dampen gains for equities, with the S&P 500 and Dow gaining for eight consecutive quarters.

Yashwant Sinha’s recent criticism of the government and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, in particular, for the country’s economic slowdown has triggered a political and economic debate.
A steady decline in economic momentum, which began in the second quarter of the last financial year and worsened in the fourth quarter, perhaps due to demonetisation, extended into the new fiscal as India’s gross domestic product grew at its slowest pace in three years. Creating jobs has been a challenge and private investments have stagnated.
While the government has fielded its top ministers to defend its handling of the economy, Yashwant Sinha’s comments have galvanised the opposition. Sinha had written in a column published in The Indian Express on Wednesday that the economy is on a “downward spiral” and specifically blamed Jaitley for demonetisation, which he claimed was an “unmitigated economic disaster” and a “badly conceived and poorly implemented” Goods and Services Tax that has played “havoc” with businesses. The Congress party’s senior leader and former finance minister P Chidambaram endorsed Sinha’s views on Jaitley, writing in a Twitter post on Wednesday: “Yashwant Sinha speaks Truth to Power. Will Power now admit the Truth that economy is sinking?”

(Bloomberg) -- For whatever reason, some of the world’s smartest and most eccentric people tend to be drawn toward airlines. Elon Musk is the latest, but with a twist—rockets.
Tacked onto a detailed explanation Friday of how SpaceX intends to land cargo on Mars five years from now—a farcical schedule that Musk conceded was “aspirational”—the space, car, solar, and battery entrepreneur segued into an audacious proposal to harness the speed of space-travel for faster earthly flights.
In essence, Musk wants to fly you even when you’re going merely to London, not Mars.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqE-ultsWt0
Flying at a maximum speed of 27,000 km/hr (17,000 mph), a hypersonic trip from New York to Shanghai in Musk’s proposed craft would take 39 minutes, down from the current nonstop time of about 15 hours. Los Angles to Toronto would take just 24 minutes. London to Dubai in a mere 29 minutes. Traveling between any two points on the globe would take less than an hour.
“Cost per seat should be about the same as full fare economy in an aircraft. Forgot to mention that,” Musk posted on Instagram Friday. At the time of publication, such a ticket for one-way travel from New York to Shanghai next month was $2,908 from China Eastern Airlines.

EURUSD Bounces, Awaits Data

Then came a period of consolidation and ranging as the tide seemed to turn. It must be noted that the past week was the last of the month and hence the fundamental and economic drivers were pretty much less. So, the moves were left to the market forces which pushed around the various pairs. As for the EURUSD pair, it rose following the period of consolidation though there was nothing to drive the move fundamentally. The speeches of Yellen and Draghi added nothing new to the mix and the incoming data from the US, in the form of the GDP, was also favorable to the US but the dollar rebound did not last through to the end of the week.

et me quickly establish the assumptions on which my case for the best course of monetary policy going forward rests. First, inflation might be headed northwards over the next few months but at this stage, the slowdown in growth has to be given priority in setting policy. Second, the flexible-inflation targeting regime might have been associated with a sharp fall in inflation but it is about time we recognise the fact that the rigidity that it has brought into monetary management is perhaps not entirely desirable given the current state of the real economy.
Thus, it is imperative to take advantage of whatever degrees of freedom this framework offers the Reserve Bank of India.
What about the counter-argument that a quarter of percentage point cut in the policy rate is hardly going to rev up the growth engine? That might be true in a superficial sense but in the present situation (where an annual average growth rate of less than 6.5 percent seems quite likely for the current year), the economy could do with all the help it can get. But how can it help? For one thing, we tend to forget that any move toward monetary accommodation, particularly a rate cut, can have a positive impact on sentiment, both for the consumer and industry and that can at least at the margin make a difference to their spending behaviour. This is critical for growth.

In 2016 Justice Jayant Patel was transferred from Gujarat to the Karnataka High Court. And in September 2017, he was sought to be transferred from Karnataka to the Allahabad High Court. He resigned, only saying that he wanted to be relieved from the institution.
Justice Patel was not obliged to give any reason for his resignation. His transfer was reason enough. But was there any reason for his transfer? A judge is no plaything nor is the process of his transfer a non-productive activity undertaken independently of rules simply for the thrill of playing with the institution. In not citing any reason, Justice Patel pointed to the pointlessness of reasons in an area outside the boundaries of judicial freedom where private opinion, not law, humor not sense or wisdom and arbitrariness not regularity of procedure governs.
Had the decision been of the executive, it would have been struck down in judicial review.
In this case, we must presume, as the Collegium of judges has decided, that for reasons unknown, the transfer was for good cause and the principle of independence of judiciary mandates we keep silent and hold our peace.

(Bloomberg) -- Here are two facts that defy logic: By the end of the year, electric-car maker Tesla Inc. will have burned through more than $10 billion without ever having made 10 cents. Yet companies around the world are lining up to compete with it.
Almost 50 new pure electric-car models will come to market globally between now and 2022, including vehicles from Daimler AG and Volkswagen AG. General Motors Co. raised the stakes Monday by pledging to sell 20 all-electric vehicles by 2023, including launching two new EVs in the next 18 months. Even British inventor James Dyson is getting into the game, announcing last week that he’s investing two billion pounds ($2.7 billion) to develop an electric car and the batteries to power it.
The reasons for chasing Tesla are part city hall, part show business. Regulators in Beijing have laid out a plan to mandate electric vehicle production in China, while California requires carmakers to build more EVs or be forced to buy credits from rivals. At the same time, Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk and his sleek cars have captured the imagination of Americans to the point where consumers and investors are throwing money at his Silicon Valley company.

Or maybe it’s just dumb luck. Whatever the case, the S&P 500 Index has risen seven times in the last eight years between October and December. And while calendar effects just took a beating with a volatility-free September, betting against any form of momentum remains a losing trade until proven otherwise.
Indeed, equities just capped an eighth straight quarter of gains, the longest winning streak since the start of 2015. The S&P 500 climbed 4 percent as corporate earnings posted the first back-to-back double-digit advance in six years, helping stocks endure mounting tension with North Korea, a deadly U.S. hurricane season and escalating political turmoil.

Bloomberg View) -- Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy stuck stubbornly to his script on Sunday night while the rest of the world watched an entirely different movie unfold in Catalonia. "There was no referendum. What we have seen was a mere dramatization," Rajoy insisted. He sounded a little like a Kremlin spokesperson brushing aside a separatist uprising in, say, Chechnya. Nothing to see here, folks.
Only there was plenty to see and cameras everywhere to document riot police firing rubber bullets into crowds of peaceful protesters, dragging voters by the hair and using truncheons. The injury estimates were continually revised higher; more than 800 were reportedly injured in clashes with Spanish police. Spanish authorities downplayed those reports.
Regardless, the videos that went viral were damning. It's hard to imagine anything in recent years that could do more to bolster the cause of Catalan separatism. Spain has now been plunged into its deepest crisis in decades; the 1978 constitutional settlement that granted Spanish regions various degrees of autonomy looks to be in tatters.

(Bloomberg Gadfly) -- This isn't the result the Saudis were looking for, and they might just decide to fight back.
Saudi Arabia's leadership of OPEC and non-OPEC production cuts comes at a cost. Not only is it trimming export volumes, it is also losing market share in key destinations, most gallingly, to countries that are also part of the output deal. That could herald fierce competition for market share once restrictions are lifted.
After almost of year of negotiations, OPEC member countries agreed in November to reduce output by around 4.5 percent (with a couple of exemptions). The following month they secured pledges from a group of non-OPEC countries to cut their production. Most important of these was Russia, which agreed to trim output by 300,000 barrels a day, or 2.7 percent.
The kingdom might have expected that they were all in this together. Compliance with the cuts has been much better than expected.

It was regarding an eight-year-old child, Mujahid, who walked into one of our partner hospitals in Mumbai a few months ago, with Pre-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – a malignant cancer of the bone that spreads rather quickly. He was given immediate treatment. But just when he won this battle, the little boy was diagnosed with Guillain-Barr Syndrome, a rare but serious autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks healthy cells in the nervous system. Mujahid was cured but paralysed, malnourished and put on life support. Our nutritionists swung into action – planning his feeding, counseling his parents, working with the doctors, monitoring his status, and providing the nutritional support he needs. It’s been three months since, and where most children deteriorate after being put on life support, Mujahid is showing signs of good health. We may just have saved him. In the text message, his oncologist was congratulating us for the nutrition we planned and provided, and for our work and care.

Trump’s remarks, relayed by three lawmakers after a closed meeting with Republicans and Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee, raised new questions about how the plan would be financed, and whether the president was instead considering increasing federal funding for building projects -- a prospect made harder by the large tax cut the administration proposed Wednesday.
Democratic lawmakers welcomed the potential opening for more federal spending, while deficit hawks bristled. Both sides, though, are still struggling to interpret Trump’s apparent turnaround.
“It’s hard to say whether he’s doing this to try to open some doors for more bipartisan discussion, or whether it’s really a fundamental policy change,’’ said Robert Poole, director of transportation policy at the Reason Foundation, a free-market research group.
“If it’s fundamental policy change, I imagine there’ll be some people looking for new jobs in the White House because you hired them to do P3 infrastructure,” he said, referring to public-private partnerships.

(Bloomberg View) -- As it heads into a major leadership transition, China is attempting a strange breed of corporate reform. Rather than privatizing state-owned enterprises outright, the government is testing whether selling minority stakes to private investors may improve their performance. Meanwhile, state companies are busy revising their governing laws to give the Communist Party more control over management. The goals of these clauses include ensuring that apparatchiks hold greater sway over key corporate decisions and, according to a recent article in a Communist Party-run newspaper, “creating more returns for shareholders.”

(Bloomberg Gadfly) -- Mike Ashley, the maverick retailer who founded and controls Sports Direct, may be going stateside. He should really stay at home.
Sports Direct International Plc, in which Ashley has a 61 percent stake, is in talks to acquire U.S. sporting goods retailer Finish Line Inc., according to the New York Post. The company didn't respond to calls from Gadfly seeking comment.
It's easy to see why Ashley may be looking across the Atlantic. The U.S. is a huge market, and sportswear companies, from Foot Locker Inc. to Nike Inc. to Finish Line itself have all stumbled recently. The British billionaire is opportunistic and likes a bargain, and Finish Line shares are down 38 percent this year. What's more, as more consumers shop online and mall traffic falls, the sector looks set for a shake-out. By owning Finish Line, Ashley would have a seat at the table.

Oil fell toward $50 a barrel and Treasuries fluctuated. Investors are also watching developments in Las Vegas, where more than 50 people have died in the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.
Global shares began the final quarter of the year on firm footing amid signs manufacturing is strengthening. China reported an unexpectedly strong factory gauge and Bank of Japans quarterly Tankan survey showed the countrys big manufacturers are the most confident in a decade. While U.S. factories got a lift from two major hurricanes, the U.K. reported slowing growth.

“The financial stability argument for tightening is getting more weight,” said Jonathan Wright, an economics professor at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and a former Fed economist.
Led by former chairman Alan Greenspan, central bankers had long argued that they were ill-equipped to spot bubbles in the making and the best approach to tackling them was to let them burst and clean up the mess afterwards. But behind the latest shift is a recognition by officials that the last two recessions were at least partly prompted by declines in markets that had gotten too frothy -- technology stock prices in 2001 and housing in 2007.
Fed Chair Janet Yellen hinted at the change last week in laying out her argument for further, ****ual interest-rate increases.
Not only does “persistently easy monetary policy” raise the risk of an overheated economy, it “might also eventually lead to increased leverage and other developments, with adverse implications for financial stability,” she said in a speech in Cleveland.
Fed research has shown that such buildups in leverage often occur when risk-taking in markets is elevated -- as central bank staffers deem is the case now.

(Bloomberg Gadfly) -- Picking stocks is famously difficult. But just how difficult is one of the oldest arguments in finance.
New York Times columnist Jeff Sommer reopened the debate last week with a piece describing a recent study by an Arizona State University business professor, Hendrik Bessembinder.
Bessembinder looked at the performance of publicly traded stocks in the U.S. from 1926 to 2016 and discovered that most of them failed to keep up with one-month Treasury bills. In fact, Bessembinder found that only 4 percent of stocks accounted for all the net wealth created by the market during the period, and 50 of those stocks accounted for 40 percent of that net wealth.

(Bloomberg) -- For years, New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s members’ Dining Room was the hardest thing to find in a vast building full of hallways and quiet chambers. That was both the point and the problem. “We had this beautiful space that offers delicious food,” said Clyde Jones, the museum’s senior vice president for institutional advancement. “And we weren’t packed.”
For some, this was one of the dining room’s main draws. Another was that for price of a museum membership, anyone (and his or her guests) could have access to a pin-drop quiet restaurant on the Upper East Side whose wall of glass—overlooking Central Park and Cleopatra’s Needle—offered one of the best views in all of culinary New York.
But, as Jones noted, the restaurant—which is accessible only by first navigating the meandering Greek and Roman Art galleries, then the expansive Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas galleries, and riding up an elevator in the rear corner of the building to its fourth floor—was not exactly bustling.

Here's your Investing Action Plan for Thursday: what you need to know as an investor for the coming day.

Autoplay: On | OffEarnings are due from Costco (COST), Constellation Brands (STZ) and Yum China (YUMC), while shares of Delta Air Lines (DAL), American Airlines (AAL) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) are forming bases after several weeks of turbulence.

Stocks to Watch

Delta, American and Southwest are all forming cup bases with signs of accumulation after selling off in July and August then rallying afterward.

Delta edged up 0.6% to 51.56 in the stock market today, nearing a 55.85 entry, after jumping 6.6% Tuesday, when the carrier issued a Q3 unit-revenue outlook that, without Hurricane Irma's impact, was still seen by analysts as solid.

Shares of air carriers jumped on the news particularly those of airlines with big operations in Florida, which along with the Caribbean bore the brunt of the storm's impact.

December U.S. Dollar Index futures finished lower on Friday as sellers followed through to the downside after posting a potentially bearish closing price reversal top the previous session. The chart pattern does not mean the trend is getting ready to turn down, but it does indicate the selling is greater than the buying at current price levels. This is often a sign of overbought conditions according to conventional technical indicators.

(Bloomberg Gadfly) -- Kwek, not Quek.
It's not enough that a Malaysian tycoon is paying the most ever to build a new office block in Singapore. What's more important is that his billionaire Singapore cousin is staying away.
Malaysian billionaire Quek Leng Chan's Guocoland Ltd. snagged the Beach Road site for a record S$1.62 billion ($1.2 billion), beating four suitors, out of which another three were foreign. Tellingly, cousin Kwek Leng Beng's City Developments Ltd. didn't bother to join the contest. Nor, as broker Cushman & Wakefield notes, did other prominent Singapore builders like CapitaLand Ltd. or Keppel Corp. The lone Singaporean bid, by brothers Robert and Philip Ng's Far East Organization Pte, was also the lowest at S$1.295 billion.

Richemont, Prada SpA and even luxury powerhouse Hermes International have all raised concerns about this in recent weeks.
This has two effects on the luxury goods groups. Both are unhelpful.
Firstly, the region's high-end brands sell many of their products abroad. As their reporting currency strengthens, sales made in Chinese yuan or U.S dollars translate back into fewer euros.
What makes the effect even more pernicious is that with most of their goods produced domestically, their costs are also in the common currency. They're deprived of a natural hedge that benefits other retailers. For instance, Adidas AG pays for most of its sneaker production in dollars, so gets a benefit from a stronger common currency.

In addition to consternation in Catalonia, the start of Q4 brings a deluge of central bank speakers along with the main sentiment and inflation prints. Forex markets will continue to be sensitive to headline risk, so we should expect conditions to remain whippy.

But traders will continue to be vigilant as they search the news tickers for headline clues as to who the next Fed Chair will be and how the tax reform process is going. President Trump advised that he expects to decide on the next Fed Chair in the next two to three weeks. Newswires were abuzz that former Governor Kevin Warsh was Trump's frontrunner.

We are making necessary changes to ensure that, working together, we can deliver a majority when the next election comes, the party chairman, Patrick McLoughlin, told delegates as he opened the Tories annual conference in in the northern city Manchester. We are changing the way that we work.
Earlier on Sunday, the Conservatives published an official review into why they lost their majority in Parliament in the snap election May called in June.

(Bloomberg) -- Embattled Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price resigned amid an uproar over his use of private and military jets at taxpayer expense while heading one of the U.S.s largest government agencies.
Price, 62, quit after it was revealed by Politico that he took more than two dozen private flights at taxpayer expense as well as trips to Europe, Africa and Asia on military aircraft, at a total cost of more than $1 million. The HHS departments Office of Inspector General launched an investigation, as did Congress.
Price is the first cabinet secretary to leave the administration, though President Donald Trumps volatile White House has already seen the departure of several top staffers.
Trump had hinted earlier in the day that Prices time with the administration could be close to coming to an end. Asked whether he had sought Prices resignation, the president said, no, but well see what happens later on.
On Thursday, Trump made it clear that he was upset with the health secretary. I am not happy with him, he said.

(Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc. and the wreckage of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. have resolved a fight over $2.1 billion that dates to the financial crisis, while quietly burying a key question about derivatives-trading practices.
Citigroup agreed Friday that it will give back $1.74 billion to the estate of the failed New York-based investment bank. Citigroup had kept about $2.1 billion that Lehman had on deposit with it for trades on everything from interest rates to corporate and sovereign debt at the time of the 2008 bankruptcy.
That will be a boon for Lehman’s unsecured creditors in the 10-year-old bankruptcy case.
The settlement came 40 days into an epic trial in New York that began last April, and was shedding new light on the frenzied weekend before Lehman’s bankruptcy filing on Sept. 15, 2008. Lehman brought up phone recordings and messages from Citigroup traders, saying comments like "ringing the register, homey” showed how the bank tried to feast on Lehman’s carcass. Citigroup said it was following accepted standards on closing out trades.
“Citi is pleased to have reached a settlement with Lehman that resolves all of the parties’ outstanding disputes,” a Citigroup spokeswoman said in a statement. The pact “furthers management’s goals of resolving legacy matters stemming from the financial crisis and focusing on Citi’s strategic business objectives,” she said.

Interest in pinot skyrocketed, while the reputation of merlot tanked. In California, growers pulled out more than 10,000 acres of merlot grapes.

I think the analytical method is the best way to earn money
in the forex market, another way every trader takes his own way,
I choose the analysis because I see in my analysis adding profit in my forex account. so always market analysis after that you decide to trade in your account

I trade 90 technical and fundamental.it 10% means we can not ignore the news or fundamentally in total but the main thing is technique. Because all the action happens on the charts so that means that's where we should always be there. The signal from the indicator will work best especially after important news has been released. So we really need to know it, one eye must watch the news and the rest is on the charts.

I would stop trading for a while. but I think if we can combine technical and fundamental analysis I think the result will be better. but we have much to learn i am trying to do this instead to jumping.

I do not use trading but technical analysis and economic evaluation, although I believe that financial analysis generates more profit but needs a great possibility to follow the news and needs technical analysis also
Technical analysis can be relied upon in non-time news and In other than opening the stock exchanges that control the Forex market because each exchange has its own advantages in dealing with currency pairs.

I ever commie foul analysis and harmonic analysis. Reflexion reasoning to see the alteration elimination that occurs at the model, whereas harmonic reasoning is used to travel the penalization analysis. because of harmonic analysis is sometimes a bit poky phenomenon, but if it happens, it ubiquitous be Solon irreverent signification.

I only have a simple long-term plan just to be patient
and wait for the price to turn if I get lost and I'm sure the price will turn around one day and I have to support this strategy with a good amount of capital and some time sI running out of capital then I have a margin call but this may rarely occur when I set realistic and easy-to-reach targets.

We need to learn more in Forex trading. My Forex is trying to use an easy-to-use method
and because it simplifies making trading decisions.
because I believe no matter what trading and that means you should always trade towards the last price movement.
The data you have to use is very effective method to overcome the trading costs.
Best of luck Forex trading ..................
