I know some us are here to be traders, however, is it possible to learn the language of mql4 first before trading? I mean, for example you have a background in programming from school of computer science. However, if you aren't, do you think programming then trading is a good route

Computer Science is a four year course in my country but there are also short term courses in programming but I think until now there is no school that offered MQL4 programming but if you want to learn programming you have to study first the basic of computer programming and after that you can do a self study in MQL4. In forex you have to developed first a consistent and profitable trading strategy before you convert it to automated trading or EA.
