I think that the huge movements is mainly caused by news time only. You may always wait for the true trend and then enter in to the market. And also you can make analysis to know the correct entry point and exit point. If you always rely session time, then you may got floating deals. for scalpers. And Asian session has tendency to become sideways condition but it's important to know the

You and I do not have the ability to say exactly when the movement of the market will go in a particular direction and by how many pips it will move. The volatility in the market is due to several factors. any event may happen any time which may make the market highly volatile. But if you talking about the general periods of volatility. Then markets are more volatile when two or more trading sessions collide or overlap one another and this is due to the large number of traders present at that time, more trader means more volatility. For example when the london and US session overlaps the market is volatile (In IST its around 6:30pm to 10:30pm IST)

If you're scalpers so it's no good timing to trade in USA and Europe session but if you're news traders or you like trending condition
