I think you should start trading with demo account and then when you comfortable then you start with real account with small capital and trade with small lot size. It is good for you when you understand every think about forex market and you capital is big then you can start with big lot size. very good idea. as a beginner you should not be greedy with profit. you better use a small lot. if you have $ 100 you better use a lot less than 0.2. because it will minimize losses. if you are already well aware of the market conditions, then you can use a lot bigger. you could be risking your capital with less resistance than 100pips.

if you have 1000 $ then you can trade 8 lot or more but never try it in real with such small amount. to really trade lot like 8 you have to balance more than 10000$. for big lot trading we must become sure about the trend and keep it in trade as for short time and try to set a stop loss so that not too big loss have to face. if you got it in profit then reset the stop loss in 1 or 2 pips profit level and wait. if the trend goes in you favor then you will get very big profit and if the trend reverse then at least you got 2 pips profit.
