hayyy .... I think MT4 is more popular among traders. Because it is very easy to use and is used from years. MT5 is new version and not many traders are familiar with it. Although it has many new features but more traders do like to use MT4.

I think both the platforms are good just the MT5 is the up****ed version of Mt4. i have been trading with using mt4 not mt5 for several years, i feel good and comfortable with it, and then i still learn it how to maximize the mt4, but using mt5 its feels more fast trading as the execution is really fast there with some new inditaors added.

I have not used metatrader 5, but think that I heard, the advantages of MetaTrader 5 is that we can adjust the time frame that we like. in metatrader 4 we only have the option time frame m1, m5, M15, M30, h1, h4, d1 and so on.
whereas in metatrader 5 we could use the time frame m10, M20 and so on, that we can setting as we want. in metatrader 5 we can not do hedging and martingale as well. but it is still in the testing phase, is still a lot to do repairs.

Both the meta traders are best for trading, if you have big capital then you can use meta trader 5 and it will be fruitful for you, and if you have small capital then it will be better for you to trade with meta trader 4 rather than 5.
