Universal pivot

Universal pivot-level indicator that show few pivots on choosen period. Usually pivots work in all liquid markets, which exhibit stable price ranges. The levels work very well in the futures markets and the Forex market as well.

Asymmetry, trend detection indicator

Automatic Fibonacci Retracement Indicator

This indicator will draw a fibonacci retracement from the low to high (or high to low depending on trend) on the visible candles on the chart. This means if you zoom in or zoom out on the chart, the fibonacci retracement will adjust to those changes. The indicator redraws the retracement on the next candle close when the price is breaking out of the high or low. This indicator also show the area that has not been retraced. If you do not want this to show up, set “ShowUnretracedZone” to false.

The main result of indicator is Key Zone (A on screenshot) – the balance level between large market operators, this is zone where main battle will be played between bears and bulls, and usually it’s not easy to brake that zone. If day was opened above Key Zone than current day considered as bullish day, and we supp ose that price will rebound up from Key Zone. And vice-versa – if day was opened below Key Zone than current day is considered as bearish day, and we suppose that price will rebound down from Key Zone.

Sixths Screen
Indicator that divide screen to 6 equal parts, it is used in some systems as additional filter (Nanningbob system most known).

Variation Index
Nowadays, the most popular representatives of the fractal time functions are the financial time series. The fractal structure of these series is well-known and aсcording to Mandelbrot there is a “rewording of the famous market saying that the movement of stocks and currencies is independent of the time scale and the price.

An observer can’t tell if the information refers to the weekly, daily or hourly changes just by looking at the appearance of the chart�.

Usually, to determine the fractal dimension the Hurst’s exponent is calculated [2]. However, for the reliable calculation of this exponent a huge amount of data is necesary (~ 10^3) and that is too much comparing to the duration of the trends of trading.

The authors [1] interpose the fractal characteristics – the variation index (m) that is closely related to the common fractal dimension. In distinct from the


Hurst’s exponent, the amount of information that is necessary for index determination is less by a factor of 2. It leads to use it as a local characteristics for

determination of the dynamics of the price series. If m < 0.5, it can be interpretated as a trend and m > 0.5 – as a flat.

The suggested indicator calculates the variation index on a previous interval which is 2^n long. The “n” parameter is specified by the user.

Signal Bars v3 Daily

This is a small program that i find useful to give me a quick reference as to the current condition of the market, the M1 & M5 give you the short term info as to reversals or retracements, the M15 & m30 give the medium condition, and the H1 & H4 give the daily trend condition. If the H1 & H4 are the same color the trading range is generally large if different the range is generally smaller and the trading tends to be choppy.

This can be located in either the top left or top right of your chart and has the option of either having the extra details ( Daily Av, spread etc ) or not.

The price color changes based on the average daily trend condition
LIME = UP �����.. ORANGE = Flat �����.. RED = Down

The MACD is based on a fast setting of 8/17/9 and has a quicker response than the standard 12/26/9 settings. If the MACD crosses UP while below the zero level the color is GREEN if it crosses UP while above the zero line the color is LIME and for the cross DOWN if above the zero level it is TOMATO and below the zero level RED, so if for example the price turns UP below the zero level it turns GREEN and then if it continues up thru the zero level it turns LIME which shows the move has some strength.


The STR (or STRENGTH) is based on the average of RSI Period 9 / Stoch 533 & CCI Period 13
If all the indicators are showing an UP move then the bar color is LIME, for a DOWN move RED and if some are UP and some DOWN then ORANGE

The EMA is based on the cross of an EMA5 & EMA9
UP move is a LIME Bar and DOWN is a RED Bar

The Daily Average figures change from red to green based on whether the range today is higher or lower than yesterday, so if the range was say 60 yesterday and 70 today based on the last 20 days average then the Daily average numbers would be GREEN.

The pips to Open change color from red to green depending on whether the Price is above or below the Open price for the day.

This gives a very good average of the market which I have found to be very accurate. If all the lower timeframes are turning GREEN then a reversal or retracement is on and if the M15 & M30 also change to GREEN then it adds strength to the move of course it goes without saying if you are going to trade against the trend of the H1 & H4 then be very careful, particularly the H1 gives the TREND STRENGTH for the current day either supported or not supported by the H4.

If both the H1 & H4 are the same color then a currency pair will generally move past the Daily Average figures
If different colors or changing between colors the Daily Average is about the top of the range for the day.

ZUP � Universal ZigZag with Pesavento Patterns

After a short research, I decided to combine ZigZags with different algorithms and automated building of Pesavento Patterns and Fibo Levels of the ZigZag fractures in one universal indicator. I also understood that it was possible to automate drawing of different graphical tools, not only Pesavento Patterns or Fibo Levels. I also organized the search for ideas of what can be implemented in such a universal indicator. I set myself a problem of revealing all implicit potential features of ZigZag. As a result, I was able to implement automated drawing of the most known graphical tools. Some new graphical tools, the ideas of which were proposed by various visitors of the forum at ONIX, were implemented, too. The indicator\�s logic is simple:

1. place quotes of the selected symbol to the indicator\�s input;
2. find the market maximums and minimums in the chart using various ZigZags;
3. anchor various graphical tools onto the above maximums and minimums.



Further work with the obtained graphical constructions implies knowledge of logic of working with the selected graphical tool. In this present article, ZigZags embedded in the ZUP will be described. There will also mentioned some graphical tools used in the ZUP. They will be described in more details in the second article devoted to the use of embedded graphical tools. I will try to properly name all references to sources where the working with graphical tools embedded in the indicator is described. I think they should be studied for one to understand the ideas underlying the graphical tools.

The ZUP has many different parameters. The main parameter is the ExtIndicator. It chooses a ZigZag that will help to find the market extremums. The ExtIndicator number is set one after another as new ZigZags or modes are embedded into the ZUP. I would like to precondition that, whatever ZigZag is used, it is not recalculated on every tick. It is recalculated if:

1. the price falls outside the null bar (the market goes above the null bar\�s High level, below the null bar\�s Low level, or a new null bar appears);
2. the earlier history is pumped;
3. the terminal has been started at pumping of history that had appeared during the terminal was off.

All ZigZag indicator styles are set using parameter ExtStyleZZ:

1.
ExtStyleZZ = true � sets the ZigZag line styles using the COLORS tab (menu Charts->Indicators->ZUP_v60->Properties->Colors);
2.
ExtStyleZZ = false � the ZigZag is shown as points at minimums and maximums.

The above is a Test Rig shot of Easy Order GUI. The text at the SL + TP lines is a separate SL + TP pip calculator indicator - by File45.

1. The Easy Order Script has option to trade in a) manual selected Lots or b) Risk based automatic calculated lots.
2. The Easy Order script places SL + TP lines on the chart which can be moved as required before and after a trade has been placed.
3. To change lot size click [New Order] drop down and choose an order type. The selected order text will replaced [New Order] text. (SL + TP lines are placed on the chart) The lot size can now be changed in the lot box. The changed lot size will remain the default until changed. Two options are now available. a) If the [Submit] button is clicked the order will go through. b) If the drop down is opened the selected order can be cancelled. (SL + TP line will delete from the chart)

For Lot based trading see attached files

LOT TRADING ONLY

A problem using the Easy Order script for manual Lots trading is that there is no way to lock the script to Lots only. The Visual Easy Order can be accidentally set to Risk which will result in a lot size not intended which can be an unpleasant surprise.

The attached EasyOrder_Submit.mq4 file has been edited to disable the Risk function. Only Lots can be traded with this file. If a trade is taken on the Risk setting an error alert will pop up - the trade will not be placed.

Important:To use this file, first remove file of the same name from the MT4/Experts/Script folder and then replace accordingly.

The Indicator can be used to start scripts only – NOT EAs.
The indicator can be used with Easy Order to delete the SL and TP Lines when orders are close via SL & TP values.
It will also delete SL & TP Lines drawn by Easy Order if orders are closed via the Terminal.
When the Indicator detects that an order has closed it initiates a Hot-key Keybd-event associated with the EasyOrder.mq4 file. The Hot-key Keybd-event causes the Easy Order script to run and it deletes the associated lines.
Setting UP the Indicator
1. Place indicator in in MT4\experts\indicator folder.
2. The default Hot key-Key code combo is: 1st Key: L-Ctrl (162) and 2nd Key: Z (90).
3. Users can define their own combo preference.
4. Assign a Hot-keys combination to the EasyOrder.mq4 file located in the MT4\experts\script folder.
5. Open the KeyCode.pdf or see image, find the corresponding Key Codes and input them into the Indicator (a choice of 3 keys are available for the first key and 36 for the second key.)
6. Ensure that no EA has the same Hot-key combo as assigned to this Indicator.
Note: While testing I discovered that I sometimes keyed in the wrong codes and also that the EasyOrder.mq4 file would still be in the old Hot-key combination while new codes had been assigned to the indicator for a different Hot-key combination. These scenarios will result in failure.
Must have files
1) WinUser32.mqh (should be in the MT4\experts\include folder)
2) User32.dll ( should be in the Windows\System32 folder)
There should be no good reason why these files are not in the relevant folders but would be a 2nd port of call, after checking key codes, if things are not working.
Caution: If you are missing a user32.dll file reliable sources strongly advise not downloading from one of the many download sites on the internet.
Why does Easy Order not delete the lines
My understanding – which sometimes turns out to be a load of twaddle - is that scripts only run once, so once an order is placed and the lines drawn, that is it as far as the
script is concerned. When positions appear to close via SL or TP lines it is MT4 that initiates the close, not the script, and as the script does not run it does not delete the lines. If the Easy Order assigned hot keys are pressed the script will run and delete the lines. The same when positions are close via Easy Order combo window/box, the script runs and deletes the lines.
Extract from Mt/4 Codebase: Script is a program intended for a single execution of some actions. Unlike Expert Advisors, Scripts are not run tickwise, but on request.
Testing in Quiet/Slow Markets
If this indicator is tested in quiet/slow markets it will appear to fail because ticks are few and far between. A marker should be used to assess when a tick event has occurred. Using SL+TP-OE CALC INDY should be suitable. When a positioned is opened there may be a long wait before the text appears at the lines. The appearance of the text at the line indicates that a tick event has taken place. Closing the position before this will result in a failure to delete the lines because a tick event would not have taken place. After the appearance of the text the position can be closed to further the test. It will be noted that after the position is closed the text may remain at the line for an extended period. Yep, its waiting for a tick and the Line Delete Indi is also waiting for a tick. Once the text drops from the chart it is proof that a tick has occurred and the lines should shortly delete followed by the below image appearing on screen. Click OK, its confirmation that the Easy Order script has received the Hot-key Keybd-event.

I read the review of all of the indicators you have mentioned. I am interested to use those indicators. But how can i use those. I think it is too tough to use indicators. I know a lot about forex. But hardly i know about forex custom indicators. Today i downloaded 2 or 3 indicators. After that i cannot use them. Please help as early as possible.

this one looks good for displaying support and resistance levels.
I wonder if the levels change at certain time during the day?
Cuz, I noticed that the levels are different or silightly different for every new day.

I have tried dinapoli target before.
Although at first I think that the indicator may provide a good levels for
