It is wrong to compare forex traders and doctors. To be a doctor you need to go thru medical school for years and pass the exam before you can practise as a doctor. You need a license to work as a doctor.

As for forex traders you don't need a licence to trade forex. You don't need formal qualification to trade forex unless you wan't to work as a forex trader for bank or some other organizations. If you're just retail traders like you and me, we just need to open a forex account and made some deposit.
