Well, Market is unpredictable. Head and shoulder patterns (TEXTBOOK ones) are very rare specially in higher timeframes. I have tried a lot of patterns on multiple timeframes in conjunction with other indicators and fibonacci, too many fake signals. Its profitable though. However I focus on taking the trades that have the highest probablity of winning which was not the case with Patterns and trendlines.

personally my dear for me I also do consider that we shouldn't place any order when a breakout take place. Because a breakout could be false any time. We should wait to get a clear idea about the trend. the support and resistance levels are used as buy and sell signals when markets are ranging. Generally, the strength of support & resistance levels are measured by how many times the price reaches a specific level, but fails to break through.
