Robots work on the basis of some indicators, every robot developer uses his favorite indicators in it. I don't think that robots can be useful in forex. I haven't tried them but i don't think that a software or bug can help you make money while you are human and can use your mind which is far better than any supercomputer.

believing and applying are two different things. i would say that yes, robots can be helpful but only after a certain experience. a new trader can learn better trading if he practice manual trading. it will help them much more than robots. and when you achieve certain level, you can start trading with robots also. there is no harm.
