Which charts are more useful it depends upon what kinds of trading one going to perform. If one be a scalper then it is better for him to use M5,M15 or M30 timeframes. For short term and day traders it is better to use H4 or D1 timeframes. And for position traders W1 or MN1 are convenient to use.

Market Trends are basically identified using a combination of different time frames.

Typically we must use :

1. H1

2. M30

3. M15

If all these 3 time frame charts have the same trends then it is the best time for trade

My opinion chart with TF 1 hour is most helpfull to get information about trend

Sometime smallest time frame only can give many false signal when trading.

What do you suggest?

I will be always use bare minimum 4h chart to be able to maximum to find out that companies are going in which from there I will be understand regarding it. This is my own technique that i'm really far better gain from 60 seconds or so to 1 l chart far better from in which chart 4h candlepower unit is trapped for my opinions.

the graph time frame is actually depend on kind of trader. when there is any scalper investor then he follows small time body like m1, m5 as well as m15 and moderate type of investor will follow tiny bit grater time frame however long term investor will follow just day as well as weekly time period.

we can utilize a chart with assorted time frames so we can examine the graph and or chart right, minimizing errors inside trading.
regarding long-term trading I did before use H1 since the analysis nevertheless it all depends about the style of each and every trader.

I prefer to choose a carry trade using candlestick charts. With these charts, I can do a trade using PIVOT technique because it is easy to show where the Open, Closing Hi and Low. So, its easy for me to determine wheres the best area to put target profit and stop loss.

That chart is much more useful this will depend upon what types of trade you will perform.Should you be a scalper then it's better for you to make use of M15 or M5 time-frame. For day time trader it is best to use H4 or even D4 time frame. Placement traders may use W1 timeframe. So it's quitely depends upon by which kinds of buying and selling the traders have an interest.

more better we just focus and consentrations in one pair only, that is more better than we watch more of pair in one time, we will so comfuse to make predictions , we must know character of one of pair first then going to another pairs.

I use daily and H4 time frames to get the direction of the trend and use hourly time frames including M5 and M1 for the timing of the trade.
This combination works best for me.i think depend our style to trading if we sclaping use TF m5,m15 or we long term we use TF h1, h4, w1.
in fact big frame is the best and honest chart true signals most of small frames give fake signals and it depends on your,,,if you trade scalping it's better to use small frames if you trade swing it's better to use daily and weekly frames

I will pick the candlestick charts as the best.I believe it is also the most used in the world. The candlestick chart's body is coloured hence a mere glance at it could inform you about what had been the state of the market for some time. Also the candlestick uses it's wick to indicate both the highest and lowest price attained which may quite be different from the closing price, which is the only price that is shown by the line chart.

You are very correct that al the charts are evenly useful as it is totally depend on the type of trading then you have to do . If you have to do the long term trading then you can use hourly charts which provide you major levels for the long term trading and the same thing for the short term trading as well.

m5, m15 as well as h1 are also great. some people make use of m1 in their planning. but it just about all depend on the actual trading technique that we are likely to use.

It depends on individual dealing style. Are you short-term trader or a while. All are free to choose the preferred period of time. I trade based on industry conditions. If the industry is dynamic, my short-term dealing. If the industry is slow, I traded in a long time.

each chart is useful, it all depends on the type of trader that your are. each type of trader has specific chart that proves most useful. what would a position trader be doing on a 5-min chart? but it would be useful for the scalper! A day trader could use the 30-min chart or one hour charts meta trader.

The more useful chart depends on the trading strategy of individual trader. I personally trade using only 4hrs and daily chart. I tend to find better entries on the daily chart because my strategy works perfectly on those timeframe. There are traders who make consistent profit on lower timeframe like 15mins and 30mins. The more useful depends on the trader

I use the same with you..
I use an open position in TF15, because I think in TF5 I encountered a lot of open faults..
For TF1H to see the price movement in a long trend to make sure we are not upside down in an open position..
TF4H too long in my opinion and TF4H often used by traders who play the longterm, because TF4H is basically the results of the weekly trading profit.. :)

it is a more asked question in forex trading and important also.i came into forex through two of my friends.between them one say to use one hour time frame and another say to use 15 minute time frame but i choose the middle one and start to trade in 30 minute time frame.and it seem to be the best so i prefer to use 30 minute time frame.thats more profitable and easy to understand the market.

I think any trader can,t trade well with large time frame only because you can,t see any trend in H4 or Daily chart for you to know the different levels of the market if you are a day trader, You need to focus on smaller time frames like M30, M15 and M5 to get detailed information of market conditions. SO i think a combination of large and small time frame is best to trade successfully.

Time frame varies between the trader and the other, and this according to the type and style of private trade by so it uses the style scalping preferred time frames short but from trading plans long-term uses frames long time and in any case prefer to look at the more than one frame to know trend year for the pair so as not to enter deals and bounce you have or be in the wrong direction .

I think there is no chart which is more useful than another chart because each trader has his own style of trading but I am sure if mostly traders prefer to use candlestick chart. And also, it's important to choose the right time frame too besides to use chart, so it's depending on each trader's technical analysis and fundamental analysis to determine the meaning from chart.

Although I was using Line Chart also.. to draw fibonacci and Trend Lines.. but I found out that they works much better with candlesticks also... I use several strategies in the trade. sometimes i do scalping in my trade, I also sometimes trading with the long-term. so I think it all depends on how we trade. but when we did the trade with a small profit as scalping. we would be better off using a shorter time frame, such as M5, M15, or M30. but if we do trade the long term, better use of time frame as well, such as H1 to monthly.
