Yes major pairs are really attractice to trade for trading on that you must have to determine the sentiment of the market so that you can take the trade as per trend of the pair. Jpy pairs are really very much volatile so you need some more amount on risk while trading on that pairs.

My suggestion, don't use too many pairs for learning in forex because it's harder to understand the characteristic of each pair when we are learning many of them at the same time. It's not wrong to trade with multiple pairs, it can be great if you can trade well with multiple pairs, but it's too risky and it needs longer time to learn many pairs at the same time.
