This 2 account have big difference that people should understand.

In demo account, we try to do trade with small lot size and try to learn from that so we can do same in real account.

But in demo context, we always open big lot size to double money in some hours and to come in top 5 or 10. So i think we should not learn anything from demo context except doing gambling.

Few says back i participated in one demo contests where i lost half of money and the person who is in first made 10k into some 300000 dollar in 2-3 days, i think he will reach 1 crore at the ending day of contests.

Absolutely correct . from my experience i also say when i am newbie then participate in some demo contest and trully saying after lossing in demo i cant learn anything because that time i tried to win prize and as a result because contest end i lost all of my money because of big lots . so i think demo contest dont give anything to newbie.

You are right . in my experience in normal demo account you may learn a lots of knowledge. here you give order as like real. but in demo contest the main thing is to rich the first position. thats why participent gives a big size order if market going with him then he gain. this is totally like gambling. waste of time and nothing to learn,
but one good thing is you may earn some $ if your luck with you, just like gambling.

demo account is quite helpful for us beginners forex ..
because in addition to learning media, demo accounts can also be used for training facilities before we use real account ..

$5-$10 deposit is also ok. but we will have so many limitations, at one time it will be very risky to open more than 2 positions of 0.01 lots size. What i said doesnt mean that we cant open more than two but it carries high risk factor because of the low deposit.

Although different than using the money, but you still have an advantage. The aim is that you can know how your system will work without fear of losing money...
Demo is to test your system...

What I personally think is that Demo account is for every one, newbies as well as professionals. Each and every trader remains as a student no matter how experienced he becomes.

As far as Demo Contest account is concerned, its totally like gambling. Its too hard to win a demo contest as you have to grow the account 8 to 10 times within a week or so. It can disturb your trading psychology as well.

Yes, there is no risk at all when you used demo contest and it is possible to gain some dollars as prize for trading when you could
win the contest. It is no easy to win the contest but it could be useful to trade with demo contest because you can try your new strategy

yes i agree with ur point. in demo contest we cant learning and i don't think a newbie can able to win a demo contest also. so its just waste of time. bcz all the demo winner is high profiled forex trader. so its better to avoid the demo contest. but we can participate those contest there is no place. just fulfilling some given trading requirement one can win those challenge. so that can be helpful and we can learn some basic ans tricks of forex trading also.

I think the differences are not too much between demo account and demo contest. Basically, the strategy that we will use in
demo account and demo contest could be same. But demo account is good as preparation for real account because you can
use exactly same from its amount of capitals, leverage, and lot size (money management) but in demo contest, the capital is
