A Review On Sony Xperia XZ Premium

When it comes to Sony, the Xperia XZ Premium seems to be the ultimate high. With the smartphone hitting the shelves just days into April 2017 with an expected launch-price close to 100,000 rupees, this smartphone has stretched Sony’s prowess into multiple directions.

Customary design albeit more polished than before:

The XZ Premium, like its other counterpart released at the MWC 2017, features a dual-glass panel design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Its exterior looks absolutely fabulous due to the glossy effect of the Corning Gorilla Glass while its dimensions which include a 7.9mm width and 195g weight maybe a tad-bigger than what we expected. Perhaps that can be attributed to its dust and waterproofing abilities.

The most powerful display yet!:

Qualitatively, the XZ Premium’s display is unrivalled. You may have seen 5.5 inches IPS LCD screens in the market but there’s nothing like the XZ Premium’s display that boasts 801ppi pixel density. This humongous amount of pixel density translates into an even bigger 2160p ultra HD resolution that’ll ensure that even a speck of dirt on the display is visible in all its might.

Motion Eye Camera anyone?:

Other than featuring probably the best display in the market, the XZ Premium also features a one-of-a-kind 19 megapixel motion eye camera. Its prowess was well-documented and dissected at the MWC 2017 with features such as super-fast snapping, slower slow-mo videos among numerous other specifications. Its selfie camera is bigger and stronger than most primary sensors out there with a 13 megapixel sensor of its own so if you were looking for two of the best cameras out there, the Xperia XZ Premium has them both.

Specifications further raise the bar:

With an Octa-Core processor and 4 gigs of RAM, a lag-free user experience atop the built-in Android Nougat is guaranteed. Its internal storage banks at a resounding 64 gigs which is excellent news. A 3230 mAh battery with plenty of juice further heats things up while a fingerprint scanner, USB type-C and fast charging comply the smartphone with all modern-day requirements.
