Price USD 31.000 – USD 37.500
The name Pajero is certainly familiar to fans of this type of SUV, which is a mainstay of Mitsubishi and has even won the extreme racing competition at the Paris Dakkar Rally. The big name that was carried up to the era of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is difficult to match, even by other SUVs from 2019.
Before discussing further, the Pajero and Pajero Sport have different engine capacities. The Pajero Sport has a smaller engine compared to the Pajero. The Pajero Sport has been present since 2009 or 11 years ago in the 4 × 2 and 4 × 4 SUV classes, namely Exceed, GLS and GLX which are equipped with diesel engines.
This type comes only with rear wheel drive but is supported by a myriad of comfort and luxury features. This made the price of the Dakar 4 × 2 Ultimate type when the price increased to reach USD 1,600. The design of the Pajero Sport family in 2019 has not changed, it still maintains the dynamic shield style on the front
Talking about the interior, you will get luxury starting from the upholstery. The comfort of driving with this car is very maximal with the presence of leather seats on every seat in it. Beauty is supported again by wooden accents that are placed on the dashboard and doors.
Advantages
• Various variants
• Strong and tough engine
• Strong and beautiful body

The fourth generation Mitsubishi Pajero was launched at the Paris Auto Show on September 30th, 2006. 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero is the flagship SUV by Mitsubishi Motors and comes in both 3-door and 5-door version. The 5-door version comes with GLS, GLX Package, and GL variants. 3-door comes in GLS, GLX Package.
Exterior:
The fourth generation as a whole wasn’t much different from the last models of the 3rd generation. The design around the wheel arches is the same except the 3rd generation had wider and flared look. The Mitsubishi Pajero 2015 received an updated front end (fascia and front grille) before it went on sale. LED daylight running lights were added with a new spare tire cover. The 5-door version still has the laid back stance yet aerodynamic body design and bulging lower half. The front headlights and grille form a smooth semi-wrapped panel.
Interior:
Depending upon the number of doors, the interior design, fabric and color scheme differ. The Mitsubishi Mini Pajero 3-door has regular gray fabric seats along with the usual gray dashboard with the hints of wood printed patterns. The 5-door has the overall beige interior tones. The GLS and GLX 5-doors come with beige fabric seats and two-tone black and gray dashboard, but the basic GL version has the regular gray seats and dashboard. The GLS and GLX are loaded with most of the modern technologies like SAT-NAV, parking sensors, keyless entry, the multimedia system (12-speaker system also available as an upgrade) etc. See our used cars section for Mitsubishi Mini Pajero price in Pakistan.

This car was first launched in 1996 in Japan and began to be exported to several countries in 1997. In various countries, this car has many names. Such as Mitsubishi Montero, Pajero Sport, Nativa, Shogun Sport and G-Wagon. In the first generation, this car was produced from 1996 to 2008.
This second generation Pajero Sport is made entirely in Thailand with several engine types. The engine offered consists of 2,500 cc and 3,000 cc V6. Seeing this success, Mitsubishi also tried to refresh the Pajero Sport.
The advantages :
1. Competitive Prices
In the SUV class, the price of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is quite competitive with other brands. For example, when compared to the sporty SUV from Toyota, namely, the Frotuner.
2. Relieved Pajero Sport cabin
Compared to other competitors, the latest Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is said to have a spacious cabin space. This relief was especially pronounced in the second row seats.
3. Equipped with Electric Parking Brake
Still in its sophistication, the All New Pajero Sport's advanced feature that the New Fortuner doesn't have is an electric hand brake. With this feature, the driver does not have to bother pulling the handbrake lever but simply pressing the button to activate the parking brake.
4. Has an Automatic 8-Speed Transmission
Unlike other cars, the latest Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has an 8-speed automatic transmission. In fact, the Toyota Fortuner class only has the highest automatic transmission up to 6 speeds. The presence of this transmission gives him longer "breaths".
Diadvantages :
1. Wasteful of fuel
It cannot be denied that SUVs are more wasteful of gasoline than city cars or MPVs. This is of course due to the large engine capacity of around 2,000 cc.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is also considered as an SUV that is quite embossed in its gasoline consumption. Owners often complain about this in various online automotive discussion forums.
2. Shock Breaker is easily damaged
Another disadvantage of the Pajero Sport is the shock breaker which is easily damaged. The most vulnerable part of the shock breaker is on the back.
Many recommend checking and monitoring this car oil frequently. If the oil seeps or melts, then there is something wrong with the shock breaker.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was developed from the Mitsubishi Pajero SUV, which had competed in the world's fiercest rally event, the Dakar Rally with a myriad of achievements at the event. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport also led Hiroshi Masuoka, a legendary racer from Japan, to win the Dakar Rally in 2002 and 2003. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport DAKAR also applies a new 8-speed gearbox which makes gearshift smoother and without shock. The large power that is channeled through the 8-speed gearbox makes the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport DAKAR's pace more responsive. The combination of the new engine with the gearbox also results in a more efficient level of fuel consumption.
From the exterior, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport DAKAR has a slimmer and more dynamic body with a new "Dynamic Shield" design on the face. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport DAKAR has pinned a narrower headlight with LEDs equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRL), which reflect the character of a tough, modern yet luxurious SUV. The rear also has a touch with the unique brake light design, which is combined with the LED. The interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport DAKAR is also more luxurious and sporty with a T-Shape High Console wrapped in wood panel accents. The new design on the dashboard and spacious cabin space to maximize passenger comfort while driving are added values for this 7-passenger SUV.
The new engine coded 4N15 with a capacity of 2.4 liters used by the Pajero Sport Dakar produces a maximum power of 181 PS at 3,500 RPM with peak torque reaching 430 Nm at 2,500 RPM. The power and torque generated from this engine increases by 45 PS and 106 Nm of torque, when compared to the previous engine. The big power generated from the engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Collaboration 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift, claimed to produce fuel efficiency.
