Starting 2019, Yamaha India introduced the YZF-R15 v3 which is equipped with the Dual Channel Anti-Lock Breaking System (ABS) feature. ABS feature is not something new on two wheels. However, the Yamaha YZF-R15 v3 ABS is the first 150cc sports bike equipped with ABS. The ABS feature on the Yamaha YZF-R15 v3 is also equipped with an adjustable fluid pressure, where the brake fluid pressure can be adjusted to ensure direct braking in slippery road conditions. Security and safety features are an added value for this motorbike from the land of the sun.
The addition of the ABS feature certainly affects the weight of the motorbike. This is due to the addition of modules and equipment. That way, the YZF-R15's weight increased from 139kg to 142kg. Not only does it come with the ABS Dual Channel feature, Yamaha also presents a new color for the ABS version, namely the new colors namely Thunder Gray, Racing Blue and Darknight. Although there are additional ABS and color features to differentiate it, the other specifications of the YZF-R15 remain the same.
