The main transportation in Venice is a boat. there are no highways in Venice, everyone uses a boat, speed boat, gondola, or uses a vaporetto (water bus).
Buy vaporetto tickets at S. Lucia station, at the Tourist Information counter.

Vaporetto ticket prices:
One-time ticket: € 6.50,
€ 14 for 12 hour pass
€ 16 for 24-hour pass
€ 26 for 48 hour pass
€ 31 for a 72 hour pass

One thing that many people dream about is riding a gondola. But it can only be a dream because the price of a gondola ride is € 80 per 50 minutes, equivalent to the price of one night's room.

In Dubrovnik, Croatia is nicknamed "Pearl of the Adriatic", then Venice, Italy earned the nickname "Queen of the Adriatic" because of Venice's maritime power in the past.
Venice has several other nicknames such as "City of Canals", The Floating City "," City of Masks "," City of Water "," City of Bridges "," La Dominante ", and" La Serenissima ".
When traveling to Venice, I felt the nicknames above very appropriate to describe Venice. Laguna and other parts of Venice has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Venice is located above a unique lagoon, making this city so iconic and becoming a very popular tourist destination all over the world. Venice as the most beautiful city in the world, in medieval and Renaissance times, Venice is a financial and maritime center, also a center of silk , wheat, and spices trade.

CORRER MUSEUM

located in one of the Napoleon Wing shopping buildings on the edge of St. Mark’s Square, precisely in the building called Procuratie Nuove (New Procuracies). The building is located on the southern edge of the piazza and you can find the Correr Museum on the top floor. Inside you can see various rooms with different decorations that illustrate the history of the city of Venice and also a collection of works of art. The museum is open from 10 am to 7 pm. Ticket price is 18 euros (including Doge's Palace tickets).

The initial design and construction of the Napoleon Wing originated from the years when Venice was part of the Kingdom of Italy (1806-1814) where Napoleon was sovereign and his stepson, Eugene de Beauharnais, was the Viceroy.
The museum is arranged in various sections that offer interesting insights into the Art and History of Venice. The first part occupies the Napoleonic Wing itself, a nineteenth-century palace for kings and emperors; here the luxurious Neo-Classical Room houses the collection of the greatest sculptors of the day, Antonio Canova (1757-1822).
Then, someone entered the Procuratie Nuove, which was designed by architect Vincenzo Scamozzi (1552-1616) and once housed some of the most important civil authorities in the Republic of Venice. Spacious rooms now contain collections that document various aspects of Venetian History - from everyday life to public institutions, from naval achievements to local celebrations.

Venice is one of Italy's tourist cities. Its layout uses the concept of floating so a vacation to Venice can be a very interesting agenda. Its territory consists of the main island and several other small islands.
The city, known for its romantic atmosphere, is also known as the City of Canals, because there are hundreds of canals along its islands. Some islands here are even separated by canals and connected to small and large bridges.
The main island which is often a tourist destination in Venice actually consists of several small islands and is divided into three main districts, namely Santa Cocre, San Marco, and Castello. Each has several cool destinations that must be visited.
If you are not satisfied, you can visit several other islands around Venice. There are Murano, Burano and Lido islands. Tourists must use water transportation to get here

My place to stay at Venice Maestro from RB N B, the place is quite comfortable and can have breakfast in the form of bread, eggs and milk and sweet tea. At breakfast I was almost given pork sausage, O God, fortunately I asked what it was. The owner is British and his wife is Chinese.
Well, this Mba Chines should be very confused, continue to be sure if you want to cook by yourself, you can, but at 10pm maximum. The person is very diligent so it's not wrong to stay at his place. Because of the hot breakfast from the inn, it saved quite a lot of money for breakfast, so I ate well at the inn before heading to the station. I walked from the inn to the Venice Maestro station, when I arrived at the station I bought a ticket at the ticket purchase machine, the train ticket price is 1.25 Euro one way to the Venice S Lucia station.
Travel time by train is not long, only 10 minutes, waiting for the train is also not long because there is a schedule on the board. Although lay and walk alone in Venice

A Review On Venice, Italy

Venice (About this soundlisten); Venetian: Venesia or Venexia [veˈnɛsja]) is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. The islands are located in the shallow Venetian Lagoon, an enclosed bay that lies between the mouths of the Po and the Piave rivers (more exactly between the Brenta and the Sile). In 2018, 260,897 people resided in the Comune di Venezia, of whom around 55,000 live in the historical city of Venice (centro storico). Together with Padua and Treviso, the city is included in the Padua-Treviso-Venice Metropolitan Area (PATREVE), which is considered a statistical metropolitan area, with a total population of 2.6 million. The name is derived from the ancient Veneti people who inhabited the region by the 10th century BCThe city was historically the capital of the Republic of Venice for a millennium and more, from 697 to 1797.

Tourist Destinations

1 St. Mark's Basilica
Certainly Venice's best-known church, and one of the most easily recognized in the world, St. Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) was originally the Doge's private chapel, decorated with Byzantine art treasures that are part of the booty brought back by Venetian ships after the fall of Constantinople.

2 St. Mark's Square
The vast expanse of Venice's largest square is brought together and made to seem almost intimate by the elegant uniformity of its architecture on three sides. But more than its architectural grace, St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) is loved as Venice's living room, the place everybody gathers, strolls, drinks coffee, stops to chat, meets friends and tour guides, or just passes through on the way to work or play. Three sides are framed in arcades, beneath which are fashionable shops and even more fashionable cafés. The open end is bookmarked by the erratic, exotic curves, swirls, mosaics, and lacy stone filigree of St. Mark's Basilica.

3 Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace) and Bridge of Sighs
Visitors arriving in Venice once stepped ashore under the façade of this extraordinary palace. They couldn't have failed to be impressed, both by its size and the finesse of its architecture. If they were received inside by the Doges, the impression would only strengthen as they entered through the Porta della Carta, a perfect example of Venetian Gothic at its height, and ascended the monumental Scala dei Giganti and the gold vaulted Scala d'Oro to be received in what many consider to be the palace's most beautiful chamber, Sala del Collegio.

4 Canale Grande (Grand Canal)
Sweeping through the heart of Venice in a giant reverse S curve, the Grand Canal is the principal boulevard through the city, connecting Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge, and the arrival points of the rail station and bridge from the mainland. Only four bridges cross its 3.8-kilometer length, but stripped-down gondolas called traghetti shuttle back and forth at several points between bridges.

5 Ponte di Rialto (Rialto Bridge) and San Polo
Once the only bridge across the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge marks the spot of the island's first settlement, called Rivus Altus (high bank). Built in 1588, some 150 years after the collapse of a previous wooden bridge, this stone arch supports two busy streets and a double set of shops.

6 Scuola Grande di San Rocco
This impressive white marble building was built between 1515 and 1560 to house a charitable society dedicated to San Rocco. Soon after its completion, the great 16th-century Venetian artist Tintoretto won the competition to paint a central panel for the ceiling of the Sala dell'Albergo by entering the building and putting his painting in its intended place before the judging, much to the irritation of his rival artists.

7 Ca' d'Oro
The delicate marble filigree by Bartolomeo Bon seems too lace-like to be carved of stone, and you can only imagine the impression this façade must have made covered in its original paint and gold. Along with the Porta della Carta in the Palazzo Ducale, also created by Bartolomeo Bon, this is considered the most perfect example of Venetian Gothic.
