A trip to Istanbul, is not complete without traveling to the Bosphorus. It does not only provide an illustration from a city plan, from the bosphorus strait, we also can enjoy the beauty of Europe and Asia at the same time. The famous Bosphorus has many things to enjoy like old century palaces and mansions which lined the strait. That's not all. the romanticism of Turkey is also very pronounced when the ship took a tour around to the black sea and see the sunset in summer time.
A truly unforgettable experience and favorite when you are here

all tourist destinations, mosques and museums in Istanbul, Hagia Sophia is tops of my list, "must visit place in Istanbul" my version. Therefore, I write the schedule to visit the Hagia Sophia in the early days.
in the morning we walk from the Airbnb apartment to Hagia Sophia. On the way, we stopped first to buy ice cream. We spent half a day at Sultan Ahmet, after Hagia Sophia, we should all be able to go to Sultan Ahmet Camii (Blue Mosque), but because we were tired, we decided to go home

The thing that I like about Turkey is super easy transportation, just read the transportation map and follow the directions. All modes of transportation are integrated from metro, tram, bus to ferri. Even so easy to go to Sultan Ahmed from the airport.
Learn the map of transportation in Istanbul to facilitate travel while in Turkey. there are so many tourist destinations in Istanbul. Mostly in Sultan Ahmed area and the most popular of which is the Blue Mosque, Cistern Basilica, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi and many more. So take only 1 day is not enough to explore this area. Although most of the tourist destinations are museums, but the museum in Istanbul is very cool and interesting to visit. So there should be a lot of tourists come to Istanbul.

Istanbul is really very beautiful city, not only from the architectural landscape, but also Turkish culture which still alive and preserved. Because I don't have much time, I only concentrate on 2 areas, Sultan Ahmed, which is a cultural area and Taksim, which is mixture of modern and cultural. In these two areas I only saw 2 Burger King chains, and 1 Starbuck chain, the other is traditional turkish food, and "cai" place or the tradition of drinking tea in every city corner .
Like other tourists, I visited several top destinations in Istanbul such as Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Galata Bridge, Topkapi Palace. All these destinations cannot be completed in one day

Who does not know Turkey. This country is one country that has always been the choice of tourist destinations for travelers. In addition to storing attractive natural beauty, Turkey also has a lot of historic sites that store many stories that become its own attraction. Buildings in Turkey are unique as a result of a blend of Europe and Asia. Many of them have a history of Islam. This uniqueness is what makes Turkey a destination for many tourists.
Galata Bridge or Galata Bridge is one of the tourist destination in Turkey which is always crowded with tourists. When crossing the bridge that was built in 1836, you will see a scene that presents two different sides, namely European and Asian style buildings.

four times to Turkey and visit the same city. Not bored? For me, of course not! Well, I've been to Turkey three times and always visited the same city, Istanbul. Don't think because I have a heart in that city. Not. But I admit I really fell in love with Istanbul since I first loved her.
Many places, attractions, and interesting things that made me fall in love. Istanbul, located in Asia and Europe, holds the history and richness of Turkish civilization. So if you visit just one day or just once, will make you miss his longing.
Even if you only have one or two days, be sure to visit the places that are in the category of must visit. Now, for convenience, I will share the experience and itinerary. I arrange it by compulsory until interesting to visit. Also based on interests. It is best to start from the old town in the Fatih region which has been included in the UNESCO world heritage list.

A Review On Istanbul, Turkey
Istanbul (About this soundlisten)), formerly known as Byzantium and Constantinople, is the most populous city in Turkey and the country's economic, cultural and historic center. Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosporus strait (which separates Europe and Asia) between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. Its commercial and historical center lies on the European side and about a third of its population lives in suburbs on the Asian side of the Bosporus. With a total population of around fifteen million residents in its metropolitan area, Istanbul is one of the world's largest cities by population, ranking as the world's fifteenth-largest city and the largest city in Europe. The city is the administrative centre of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (coterminous with Istanbul Province.
Tourist Destinations
1. Aya Sofya
It's said that when the Byzantine Emperor Justinian entered his finished church for the first time in AD 536, he cried out "Glory to God that I have been judged worthy of such a work. Oh Solomon, I have outdone you!" The Aya Sofya (formerly the Hagia Sophia) was the emperor's swaggering statement to the world of the wealth and technical ability of his empire.
2. Topkapi Palace (Topkapi Sarayi)
First built by Mehmet the Conqueror in the 15th century, this glorious palace beside the Bosphorus was where the sultans of the Ottoman Empire ruled over their dominions up until the 19th century. The vast complex is a dazzling display of Islamic art, with opulent courtyards lined with intricate hand-painted tile-work, linking a warren of sumptuously decorated rooms, all bounded by battlemented walls and towers.
3. Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Camii)
Sultan Ahmet I's grand architectural gift to his capital was this beautiful mosque, commonly known as the Blue Mosque today. Built between 1609 and 1616, the mosque caused a furore throughout the Muslim world when it was finished, as it had six minarets (the same number as the Great Mosque of Mecca). A seventh minaret was eventually gifted to Mecca to stem the dissent.
4. Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarniçi)
The Basilica Cistern is one of Istanbul's most surprising tourist attractions. This huge, palace-like underground hall, supported by 336 columns in 12 rows, once stored the imperial water supply for the Byzantine emperors. The project was begun by Constantine the Great but finished by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century.
5. Hippodrome
The ancient Hippodrome was begun by Septimius Severus in AD 203 and completed by Constantine the Great in AD 330. This was the center of Byzantine public life and the scene of splendid games and chariot races but also factional conflicts. Today, there isn't much of the Hippodrome left to see, except for a small section of the gallery walls on the southern side, but the At Meydani (park), which now stands on the site is home to a variety of monuments.
6. Istanbul Archaeology Museum
Just a hop, skip, and jump away from Topkapi Palace, this important museum complex brings together a staggering array of artifacts from Turkey and throughout the Middle East, which sweeps through the vast breadth of history of this region. There are three separate sections in the complex, each of which are worthy of a visit: the Museum of the Ancient Orient; the main Archaeology Museum; and the Tiled Pavilion of Mehmet the Conqueror, which holds a staggering collection of ceramic art. As well as all the wonderful artifacts on display, don't miss the interesting Istanbul Through the Ages exhibit room in the main Archaeology Museum.
7. Grand Bazaar (Kapali Çarsi)
For many visitors, sightseeing in Istanbul is as much about shopping as museums and monumental attractions, and the Grand Bazaar is where everyone comes. This massive covered market is basically the world's first shopping mall, taking up a whole city quarter, surrounded by thick walls, between the Nure Osmaniye Mosque and Beyazit Mosque. The Beyazit Mosque (built in 1498-1505) itself occupies the site of Theodosius I's Forum and has architecture inspired by the Aya Sofya.
