SL is so important in forex that i think it is complusory and have to put when we open trade even we stay infront ofour PC my experience say that sometimes with in few seconds market moves even 100 pips and only SL save us from this condition.but sorry tosay even most of the newbies know how important to put SL sometimes we dont do it and as a result sure loss and when i also newbies i also do not put SL because of thought that price will come down privious lwvwl.but now how much important to put SL in our trade as well as TP.

Yes that's very important and i prefer before every opening a position and trade to think about the stop point cause i have to measure the chance and see if the profit that i aimed for is a bigger or smaller than the risk i have to face cause it have to be much than the risk unless never enter that trade.
