are you loss 1000$ if that is your real money then you need to do some more practice in demo account with proper money management rules.
i also one time got loss but that is only 100$ but now present time i recover my loss and i have profit more then my investment.

I use about 10% of my capital now but as for ratio I try to earn about 30 pips and try to take about a 50 pip stop loss. It is very strange risk and reward ratio and i think you need to revisit your trading plan as it will not give you any thing expect loss. Reward should never be lower than risk taken.

This risk and reward ratio may work when market is moving in spikes and hap hazard. As the price may reverse after going 40 pips opposite to your order and hits your TP. So this makes a positive trade instead of negative which would be at 30 pips SL.

@hetal i think you haven't put a SL in your trade , which is very bad for a good trader (especially as beginner you shouldn't do it ) . i know it because i used to do the same mistake when i was a beginner here in forex , but in my experience when ever i continued trading without SL i have drowned in loss . so always be cautious . ;)

think you haven't put a SL in your trade , which is very bad for a good trader (especially as beginner you shouldn't do it ) . i know it because i used to do the same mistake when i was a beginner here in forex , but in my experience when ever i continued trading without SL i have drowned in loss . so always be cautious .
