AUD/JPY 4H Chart: Testing support cluster
The Australian Dollar has revealed a new junior ascending channel pattern against the Japanese Yen. The channel pattern guided the currency pair during last week's trading session.

The exchange rate is currently testing a support cluster formed by the 50-, 100– and 200-hour SMAs and the combination of the weekly and the monthly pivot points at 78.73.

If support cluster holds, the currency exchange rate will aim for the upper boundary of the junior ascending channel at 79.74.

On the other hand, if the rate passes the support cluster, bearish traders could drive the pair towards the weekly S1 at 78.21 during the following trading sessions.

AUDJPY had been rejected by the 80.92 support level yesterday. Then, AUDJPY also formed a double bottom pattern on that support (we can see that on H4 time frame). So, I think AUDJPY may touches the resistance level at 81.54 or higher. But this set up will fail if AUDJPY can break 80.92 support level

Then, if AUDJPY can break that resistance level, AUDJPY may continue going up and the next target is at around 84.44 as the next resistance level. But if fail, AUDJPY may fall to 81.99 support level

AUD/JPY dropped to the lowest level since Feb. 8 a few minutes before press time, having created a bearish candle on Friday.
