Focus on Canada
The Grand Prix season moves to Canada for the seventh race in the calendar. The track has produced some great races over the year and Canada, some great drivers. This is also always a good course to show off your excellent driving skills, which is why the IRBR have previously done so well there. Last season, Ricciardo won his first race in a thrilling showdown.
We look forward to seeing the RB11 car do well on the first North American track of the year. Turning our attention to that part of the world, we focus on the dollar this week.
Recently published data on the US economy has increased the likelihood of rising interest rates this year. Dollar bulls were happy to see April's growth in the basic consumer price index in the US by 0.3% (m/m), the drop in unemployment to 5.4% and growth of 0.5% (m/m) in the durable goods orders in the US.
At the beginning of June, the USD/CAD is set to reach the level of 1.23, while in the medium term it may climb to the level of 1.282.
