GAP trading mere khayal se achchi ho sakti hai, lekin mere liye GAP trading achchi nahi hai, main aisi strategy ko kabhi bhi prefer nahi karta hoon, kyun ki GAP market always open nahi hoti hai, sometimes hi aisi market milti hai.

yes ye strategy kafi profitable he mene is strategy k bare me kafi suna he mene iske profit se satisfied ho kar kam start kia he yes ye strstegy gap ke sath bi profit deti he this can never disappoint any one.

that's strategy on demo on the last 2 weeks open and the results was perfect, but the only issue that i didn't had to trade without stop loss specially i have mini account so what is maximum average to price movement out the entry point before refill the gab again and reach the target .

I want to share a new trading strategy that i have used since January 2012.
This strategy uses gaps that happen every Monday when the market is open.
I give my strategy with name "Gap Strategy".

The rules of this strategy :

• Open buy if the Monday's open price below the Friday's close price.
• Open sell if the Monday's open price above the Friday's close price.
• Set TP at Friday's close price depends the size of gaps :
  
  Gap's size less than 40, set TP 100%
  Gap's size between 40 and 60, set TP 75%
  Gap's size greater than 60, set TP 50%
  

Thanks for the share ... Your thread is very nice .. As currently, there is a huge GAP in pairs EURUSD and EURJPY (> 60). So, I take 50% profit .. thank you

I cogitate that the strategy that you posted can use in many situations. Withal it is vulnerable if you do not use a stop loss and strike that it faculty be trenchant every term. You can retrogress a lot of your account if you do not cut evil trades quickly....Best of luck .

In my opinion gap trading is not a vialuable in Forex. I have only tested one pair with four months worth of data to be definitive i would need to test at least five pairs with one year of data might this in future but at the moment it is more important to address the flawed wisdom in the Forex.

I like this strategy. It is almost perfect. I have been trading forex for years now on and off but I only found this out for myself just this Monday. It works very well. u can never say levels / limits forex trades. There is a gap that will be used to make money. whether to apply forever? hehehe, it might be too much if I ask so...best of luck.
