It is best to create your own strategy because already available strategies are not going to suit you because every individuals have different trading style which can not be very profitable for you. Building your own strategy will help you to modify if something goes wrong in the market

There is no restriction over using techniques you can use your own techniques but if you are not good in making strategies then you can use others strategies to earn profit from Forex trading. Find a trader who is earning good money from forex ask him to share his strategy if he agrees to tell you then use it and earn profit.

In my experience,trading technique that can provide profit is not easy when I myself prefer to use existing techniques but in combination with a variety of techniques to fit the way we do trading so we can use these techniques with a comfortable way and can earn profits.

Do whatever suits you. If you are comfortable and you are earning with an available technique you should use this but if you are not having satisfactory results than you can make your own trading techniques and methods, but test new techniques in demo first and if you find it profitable than implement in your live trading account.
