In demo account and real account has no difference but the the is one is virtual money and another is real money, so you can one thing u can show talent with your friend with demo account and give him challenge with your talent as a result you able judge your analysis with him but don't even thing about the real trade with him because it can be dangerous for you, u will loose ur all money.

Yes, I am totally agreed with your opinion that if we take participation in various contests will boost our confidence levels. When we participated in any contest either lost or win it does not matter but we can improve our knowledge also we get knowledge about our mistakes. Thus it is much important to compete in any competitions.
