of course generally my dear, It�s no double that keeping the winning trade for long time may not result in more profit all the time. We need to have an end for everything only then we will be able to enjoy the fruits of our efforts else we will be in deep mess. So it is better to have clear cut goals before placing any order on the market.

How long you open a position it depends on you. If you think the trade is in enough position of profit then you can close it. Otherwise you can open the position how many days you want. If your account is swap free then you can do it. If the account is not swap free you can not keep open the trade for long time.

There is no any certain time to open your position in forex market.if your chart is in favour of you you can open your position .if your chart not allow to open position in forex market then you should not open your position in forex market.

about how long we can have an open position, it depending to broker that we use for trading. in my opinion, all brokers have a respective agreement. very important for us to read carefuly all broker's trading policy and agreement that we use before opening an account and make a deposit. so we did not have any difficulties in the future with our trading.
