How long we can have a position open?

As I know there has no limit of time. As long as you want you can have a position. There have so many traders who are doing long term trading. They open a trade for 1 week, one month, sometimes for 6 months. But if you have swap account then I think they will deduct money as swap. But there has no time limit. You can contact the support team for sure.

bhai apne strategy ke hisab se hi aapko apne position ka time tay karna chahiye agar aap long term strategy me kaam karte hain to aap kai dino tak trade chod sakte hain kyonki aapki strategy ke hisab se thode der me hi profit milega lekin trade lambe dino tak survive karne wala hona chahiye agar galat lot use karenge to do minute me sab chala jaega.

the most important thing is to close trade when you have enough profit and then wait for the right time to open a new trade

Haan bhai ye baat to ekdum sach hai ki ham logon ko apni trading ki positions ko jyada time tak open karne se kuch bhi nahi mi lsakta hai. Hame ye bhi samajhna hota hai ki ham logon ko abhi kitne profits apni trades se mil rahe hain aur kis tara hse hame apni income ko increase karna hoga.

and i keep work at that time because its make me have 100 pips

A position can stay open for a long as you so wish, whether its a minute or a year, there is no restriction on how long it can stay open, this is the freedom that doing forex comes with, you can do anything you want and how you want it as long as you can live with the consequences of your actions.

there is no limit to how long your trades can stay open in the forex market as long as you have not exhausted your account margin, it is completely up to you as a trader to decide when you want to close the trade, but it is expected of you to do this base on some already defined trading rules

A position can stay open as long as possible or as short time as possible, it all depends with your trading plan and if its withing your plan you can leave it open even for years to come, if its making profits then i don't see the problem, the problem comes in if you are losing and the loss continues to grow with time, so it does not make sense in such a situation to keep it open.

Most of the traders try to trade for the short time but they must have to understand that if they try to trade for the long time then they can easily gain good income in the short time. so you can also keep your trade open for the long time with the trend.

A position can stay open for a minute, day, week , month or even an year or years, you can trade either long or short depending on your trading plan, as long as it is profiting then you can let the profits run for as long as possible but personally i prefer a short trade that am going to profit from now to save time and move onto my next trade thus making more over a short time rather than making the same over a long time.
