I thing technical analysis is very good for the new trader.On technical analysis we use the charts and indicators to pridict the market it will be easy to trade profitably.New traders must know about support and resistance,candle stick signals and its meaning.and some indicators.On other hand fundamental analysis is very hard to trade as it is not seen on the chart.the impact of the news may not seen as soon as it is released.They say believe on what you see not on what you hear .what you see can never be wrong but what you hear might be wrong.

Basically two type of analysis developed in Forex, one is Technical which is depend of chart/candle/line/bar study and 2nd one is Fundamental which is depend of market news and what happening in country wise. Both are basic tools for Forex trading.
