Why some brokers have high minimum deposit?

actually if you are going to invest 100 dollars ,i dont think so you are going to make 100 in a year because in forex you earn with pips ,minimum is 100 its ok but i think if trader is confident he should go for some high amount btw 300 to 400 dollars.

hi, really i don't know but i think they want to accumulate a big money from trader . and maybe think that good for theim to control small number traders. for example if make the minimum deposit is 100 dollar they know in the first time they don't have many trader in their system.

they were awesome in the beginning but then when the number of clients raised the execution got slower and worse, bigger slippage and things like that. Moreover if a trader opens an account with $1-5 chances of facing the margin call is really high so they may not appreciate it and dont allow it

i think it is not wisdom to deposit 1$ to start trading we can not earn from it but may be be brokers can earn from it.

This is a very relevant question because while some minimum deposit forex brokers like Alpari provide micro-lots for their $200 minimum deposit accounts, some others only allow minimum contracts of one mini-lot. It is very difficult to trade minimum deposit accounts in mini-lots; two successive bad trades will put the account in great jeopardy.

I think it's easy for them to attached a account or it could be a purpose that they want to trade with disciplined with some of good experienced traders not with so many or it could be that he wants to get a lot from his traders.

It's easier for a broker to have a small amount of traders with big capital that million of traders with a few bucks. More traders means more server problems, because you need more better servers and things like this. I've noticed this with fast growing brokers, they were awesome in the beginning but then when the number of clients raised the execution got slower and worse, bigger slippage and things like that.

actually they want good traders. not all new user. and good user are the cause of their profit. and they also earn more commission from them.

me ye samajhta hun ke aesa broker ko high minimum deposit karne ko kehte hain wo ya to scam broker hoote hain ya phir un ka standard zara high hota hai

A dealer needs to start trading with whatever peak amount.A broker provides leverage to bargainer to intensify his trading ability so it has to be few minimum total which a trader can outfit and broker can wage investment accordingly.
