I would suggest you to invest at least 100 US Dollars, if you have good trading skills and experience than you can invest as much as you want, but if you have poor trading skills and you dont have much experience than you should invest only this amount, keep learning and keep trading with little lots.

first of all its not good to trade with 8 lots specially for new traders but if you are old trader and have enough knowledge then you need big investment like more than 5000$ to trade with 8 lots and if your trades goes in favour of you you will earn big amount and if market goes against you . you will have to face very very big loss as well
