I think it depends on your equity if your equity is strong and you know market and it is in your favor then you can use 1:500 to 1:700 leverage and if your equity is low then don't use high leverage use low like 1:200 or so...

Leverage has benefit for trader. By using leverage we can increase our profit in the trading altough our capital is small. it will be very beneficial if we often win the trades. So, we have to make a position only if we are sure we will win the trade

but I think the benefits and dangers greater danger, so it's better we consider again why we use a large laverage. because large laverage makes us easy to get greedy. this is usually experienced by novice traders.

Leverage should be small.If leverage is too big, you will be allowed to open a lot of trade and your positions will be closed when you are in a great loss.Again, if your leverage is too small, you will not be allowed to open a trade when you are about to loss your capital.So a trader should use 1:200 or 1:400 leverage.I always prefer 1:400 leverage.It is good for trading.Many good traders also use 1:200 leverage.

the benefit from using the leverage is we can make the trading using the small capital, the leveragee is like the loan from the broker, which that it loan us the money to make us can have more capital to make the tarding on the market, and make us can use more high lot inside

Leverage is very big help from brokers to retail traders so retail traders can take part in forex market although they had only small amount of fund as capital. With high leverage, we can trade although we invested only 5 or 10 dollars as our capital but I suggested to use higher amount of capital. It's depending on our money management to choose which leverage for current condition.
