Yes forum is a useful media for the new trader. Cause in forum the new trader ask their question and the answer given by the members is on the basis on their trading experience which is not found in any book or from other source. So the answer or discussion a new trader find in forum is to much related and useful for him/ her, means the newbie.

I am a beginner who might trade if I do and probably will but I will have to continuously defeat his name .. for that I always learn in the demo account .. and I learned it was a very good thing to trade on real account
