Hedging vs Stoploss?? What would you Prefer??

if you ask me if we feel money management we are not strong enough to withstand the movement of the market will be much better we have to think twice to pursue because it will be very bad trade to continue and we better stop loss to safeguard our acount ...

i personally think that both hedging and stop loss is important but each of them must be used
carefully. because if we set the wrong parameter we will lose money more often than profiting.

I think hedging and stop loss both are important . Both are useful in their way . But most of the trader use stop loss , i am also using stop loss . I think stop loss is more easier and it is a good strategy to prevent huge loss .

Never hedge - it is far worse than a stop loss. If you hedge then you are asking for more trouble. You end up having another bad trade to deal with and this can be very stressful to cope with.

i think that stop loss is not good way Forex trading . but hedging is best to use a stop loss . so i think stop loss in strait foreword and hedging may keep you in confusion where to close a trade to start reducing losses on another that way stop loss in good strategy.

A forex aspirant should learn to use SL first. Hedging is a complex method to learn and if one doesnt have sound knowledge it will result in a complex situation unable to close the positions. Moreover hedging require opening too many trades and sufficient capital to bear the market movements for a considerable period of time. So my advice is to use sl for the moment and learn hedging later

I prefer using stop loss than using Hedging. Although it is a complex matter, it is no more useful than using stop loss. Setting stop loss is very easy and useful than using Hedging. I will suggest to use stop loss than using hedging.

Yeah brother you're really right in automated trading we can get huge profit but some time we do the big loss that's why it is too risky and it's not reliable for every traders.stop loss is not the best way, depending on the strategy used. Not all the strategies required to use the SL

yes, if we use different strategies we may not need to use stop losses in trading. but we also must be able to regulate the management of risk. I think the risk would be even greater if we do not use stop losses.

I also prefer stop loss rather than hedging. SL can minimize the lost. When my open position hit the SL, I know the are mistake in my analysis. So I should analyze again before opening new post. With hedging, I don't know where the suitable price to take my profit and lets the floating go up and down independently. If market become crazy because of fundamental news, then my floating will became bigger and bigger.
