I find that when it contest most of the traders will just gamble with it .but if a trader has a good system he can also earn big price from as there.maybe the broker must not give the price only as a based on the profites but also other factors like draw-down and looses and wins in total.so that the contests can focus on better trading rather than just gambling !

For me I am little agreed with you that instead of demo traders a should strated from cent accounts and because demo as a did not offer to learn emotion trading and greed control because these teo matter when trader invest from his pocket. So instead of demo go for cent accounts !

Demo context always gives me excitement and have the choice to learning but some broker open competitions and require you to have an account on $ 500 to be able to participate that is bad thing of the beginners because they always need places good learning and no large capital investment
