Yes SL is not recommended for scalpers.Because the TP and SL values will be low like 5pips.so lot of chances for the SL to get triggered as 5pips movement is just a fluctuation in forex market and for scalpers each pip is important.

but it would be very berbahay if not using sl. I never do scalping. I use a script to install the sl and tp automatically. so no need to bother setting up.

some time scalper also use stop loss too. specially in news trading. to minimalizing requote when scalper close their posisition.

Importance of SL depends upon the trading style.If you are a weekly or a long term trader and you wont check the price often,then SL is important .
But if you are scalper and you are glued to the system watching the price all the day,then SL wont be that much important.

I fully agree with your views on stop loss..
stop loss minimizes your chances of loosing money in this market if you place it correctly accoridng to the market trend..
all experianced trader use stop loss in there deals and they also advise other traders to use is

when I saw that 95% of traders lose because no discipline with a stop loss and poor money management is a picture of the difficulty in mastering the business so it needs a good risk management in

yeah, people who just think how to be quick rich on this bussines will end as a losser. and ussualy people who think to be quick rich is beginner trader.

Bahut log stop loss ka used nahi karte hain kyunki unhe lagta hai stop loss unka pehle hit karega tp se aur isliye bahut bar unhe margin call se guzarana padta hain.

Aap ya par stop loss ka importance bataye...

its one of the most important thing to set stop loss if you want to be successful. we know we cant make profit in all the trades we open. that means we are going to lose some. so setting stop loss is an effective way to check our loses. Setting stop loss and take profit in every trade we make is a must
