Hold NOTHING long term except BTC. (>2 weeks is dangerous).
Never buy into a coin after a dump.
Learn to understand the bitcoin (or any) chain.
Learn to understand the correlation between bitcoin and an altcoin.

Learn to understand candle stick charts. They offer significant information, which can’t be figured out of normal lined charts.
Secure winning & limit losses
Learn technical analysis. This plays a major role in the market movement.
Don’t trade if you have sleep problems because of a single trade. That is just not worth it.

i do not have any experience of trading in crypto currency.but i intend to do trading in cryptocurrency in future. your post is very helpful for me for this purpose. i am agree with one thing that if your are trading in cryptocurrency you should not hold it for much time.

For a move higher we must now see this market hold above 0.7903, followed by a strong break and close above 0.7934. Should this occur we will look for this market to test 0.7988. A strong break and close above 0.7988 could see this market post further gains into 0.8034.

I think Gulden is making great progress as a coin. Their PoW2 update seems very promising and is currently being tested and will likely be released Q1. This will bring among others, 1 or 2 confirmation transactions, witnessing (earn Gulden with your Gulden) and improved scalability.

What I like most though is the development team distancing themselves from the current Cryptoworld mentality. They do not hype their developments, will only release things "when it's done" and are not concerned with the price at all. They have a clear focus on usability and building a strong foundation.

I quite agree with the points you mentioned. As we all know that cryptocurrency trading is becoming really common and more and people are joining just because the price of the bitcoin suddenly flew to the sky and no one was expecting this and after that people thinking that its easy to make money from coins so they are buying but the market is almost dead and its time to buy alt coins but we should do trading in discipline
