If i invested in forex trading maximum 500$ then i choose the lot size is to be minimum 0.20 for each level and i mainly use trailing stops as beginner should learn using trailing stops with trades. I think this lots may better for the beginners to prefer they knowledge to success .

well it depends upon the capital you have in your trading account its always good to not risk 4% of your captial for single trade so you can make money or get a loss for limited amount . there are many newbies are greedy and they are keeping large lots and finally get are losing trades and also money.

well it really depends on the amount in his account before the right lot size can be discussed but if the trader is something like 300 USD then it would be better for him to trade at 20 cents per pip so he will not make much losses from each trade because it is also indispensable.
