yes following the trend is a good way to make profit in forex. you have to give priority the trend in daily chart first and then the h4 chart for long term trading and for day trading you can used the h1 chart. but always try to trade in the direction of the h4 or daily chart trend. when you got the three trend in the same direction then gone for a big opportunity and most trade in this direction.
