How long we can have a position open?

We can keep our positions open as long as we want, but makes sure that we have enough margin to keep it opened. If we do not have enough margin, then the broker will close our position. In forex, there are no limitation. our margin which makes limit for us

This is depend on the strategy base and risk management. With put syrategy that you can not right work. You are focus on the strategy and its parts. When you are under stand the part of strategy /factors. So you can easy to mange it. You can open the right time.

I see some people leave the trades open for days and don't worry, then go and make other activities and come back. But what's their STOP LOSS, what's their margin? I really wonder,
If we leave the trades for longer terms, (4H and more) we need a HUGE stop loss because the market can move hundreds of pips down and up in less than a week period, and if you are hit by a STOP LOSS of 100 or more pips you are losing a lot of money.

I also have some trades open three months ago. And one of my friend has hold his position more than two years. And so i believe there is a no such constraint. but it is better to follow your trading strategy on trade judgements to avoid regretting it latter and blame whatever or whoever is approximately you.

well my friend, absolutely in forex trading I personally think that there is no time limit for that, we can open our trade for many days and there is no limitation for that. But keeping trade for a cuple of days then we should have count the swap fees. But here in instaforex you can choose the swap free application.

Haan bhai time period to koi limit nahi rahta hai, jab tak chahe apni trades ko open kiya ja sakta hai, lekin acha hota hai ki trade ko sahi time par band kar diya jaye bhai, humko sahi time par profits le lena hota hai bhai.
