Well actually 200 SMA is not that important to make money. Yes if you use it than you will get some of the advantages but it is not necessary to make profits. You can trade and make good profits without using 200 SMA and also you can make huge money with it also. You dont need to make good trades with 200 SMA also. So always try to trade with the things that makes you feel comfortable.

Yes, maybe 200 SMA is important because maximum time I see that professional traders use this moving average to determine the trend line. 100 and 50 SMA also they use to determine the trend line. But this type of tool is for long term trading. You need to go for 1 week or 2 days minimum. But profitable and not risky.

200 day moving average is very important . for trading, first we should confirm the trend, if price is above the moving average then there is buying trend , if price is down the moving average then market in down trend.
