The difference is, demo is just demo for trading. You want to learn the procedure to trade in this. And also make familiar with the options in the platform.

Demo is virtual money for trading in forex and it is free to use as much as you have demo money on balance. Live account is real money and if you lose money, you are with out that deposit but if you win you can take it.

sure there is different between demo and real account
lots of ppl make good profits in demo accounts but they lose in real accounts
the reason is the psychological state of the traders (fear,greed)

not much difference is available in the demo account and real account demo account work like real account but in the demo account we get demo money but in the real account we use real money and we earn or loss the money in the real account
