trailing stop loss is a good choice to lock the profit when the market move back and against the orders then trader will not get some losing caused it..
i prefer to use trailing stop loss than using stop loss itself , it is safer and make me confident

using trailing stop is good but we have to know that it has its own disadvantage as well so all we need to know that before we might use the trailing stop we should have seen that the trade in question would have gone far in our preferred direction before we might start to think of putting a trailing stop so as not to disturb the movement our trade at anytime.

Yes friend using trailing stop can be very beneficial and effective,but right now i don't know how to use it properly.So I am learning it in demo account.I use both take profit and stop loss in my every trade.As all these are very effective risk management tools.

I think it would be very useful trailing stop if we are trading middle term. because we do not need to manually shift the stop loss, we just have to set stoploss point liking. I think, long term trade is not suitable for use TrailingStop. as trailing stop metatrader only active when we are active, while the long term trade takes days to clear the position. for the long term should shift their stop loss manually

I usually use the trailing stop loss only when I am trading with higher time frames and when I am using a higher capital but in a situation when we just have a low pips from small trade it would be better if we lock in our profit by using using stop loss level.
