First, it is important to know that a fixed trailing stop is an advanced entry order designed to move a stop forward a specificed amount of pips after a position has moved in your favor. Traditionaly fixed trailing stops are used in conjuncture with a trending market strategy, to lock in profits on an extended move.

In a forex trading business i mostly learned and preferred to use a trailing stop on every trade .Also i work on my strategy that may views some good entry with trailing stop that should be important level for the traders to manage without any risk of trading . And by using a trailing stop we could manage the huge loss at some other points .its may be safer for the beginner traders to learn about trailing stops on they chart.

Trailing stop loss is good to chase profit when your Target Profit is more than 100 pips in single transaction. It can prevent loss when there is reversal movement instantly and usually trailing stop loss is used to gain extra pips of profit when current price almost reach on our TP and then we moved TP point in higher price. If the price has reached on our TP then we could move SL periodically with hope that the price could reach on 2nd TP

trailing stop has so many advantage and also some disadvantage.the advantage is specially when we are not live trading l mean if we are not watching the trade,trailing stop can just follow the target and in-case the trend will turn back it can save you from loosing or even let you make some ****.the disadvantage is if you will keep the trailing stop too short then a little back up can hit it easily and again you will loose opportunity to make bigger ****.
