As a beginner, U should practice on demo 3 to 6 months. U should be a member of Forex forum so that u can Learn about forex. u have to gather knowledge about important indicators, fundamental and technical analysis. U have to set up ur mind that u may take loss. Then Open a live account and do trade with patience.

just dont greedy learn when to close position and when to open position well will save you from doom. just folow the trend dont make any asumption becouse market always defy you asumption as human we tend to have biased. to avoid biased try make profit in long and short position. use other analyzer to make sure where the resistence and support.

Welcome to Forex market you have taken a good decision but if you want to good in this market then you have to learn first and then trade in demo account, if you get success in the demo account then you can trade in the real account but you should use proper money management.

I guess reading does help, today I just read an article telling about Carry trade and Commodity price strategies, looking interesting and informative. Now I see what are the strategies people are talking about everywhere, personally I like commodity price strategy better, since I think it requires some deposit the corresponding currency into bank to wait for withdrawal after a certain period, whereas we only do simple currency exchange in some platform, or maybe I didn't understand the strategy that well?
