actually if you want to survive in the forex market then you just need to open demo account and practice as much as you can and then you may open any deal and start earning

The most important of all is the ability to manage funds or capital management and regulation of emotions in trading and trading discipline, trading without discipline we will not be successful in forex trading, however, our system is good if without discipline we will be hard to survive in forex trading, we must always be disciplined and fast in forex trading with a strong disciplinary skills we will be successful in this trade, whatever we use in trading, but all good and disciplined capital management plays an important role.

Yeah traders who know better about forex and have proper strategy then they can survive easily in forex but one thing we should keep in mind that only traders lose because of lack of money management.

survival skill is only depends on ur mentality and low risking habit ...when u are taking 0.05% of risk u will feel so good but when u are thinking about geed then it's not possible .surviving skill is fully control with ur money managements ..this will tell u how many pips u can survive and how much money u can afford to loss at a time

in my mind the best survival skill is to know when to start a trade and to know when to get out of it. to do that u should set a realistic goal for ur self and stick to the plan irrespective of the market movement. most of the times traders get greedy when they see that their trade is gaining and let it run past the limit that they have set and suddenly realizes that the market direction has changed drastically and is going in the other direction fast. when u act it may be too late because all your profit may have got wiped out or even yr entire account. this happened to me in trading gold and i lost heavily. so i never let the account continue past my target no of pips now.
another survival skill is to know what u do. that is to gain a good knowledge in the fundamental trading methods and get confidence. with knowledge comes confidence and with confidence u can do wonders.
