Quite a lot of brokers hold regular trading contests among live accounts and demo accounts. Some are monthly, others weekly, and some are daily. Do these contests contribute any benefit to the trader aside from the prizes that could be won? What do you think? If so, on the contrary would there be any disadvantage?

It does not matter whether the trader is a beginner or not he can follow as many contest as he wishes all he needs to do is register for them and trade them one after the other. He is not using his own money so even if he losses or cannot meet up, at least he will have the experience for keeps.

in trading contest we could improve the ability of analysis and add experience of trading practices, as well as be able to find out how effective strategies and systems that we use to face the market movement

Yes, trading contest could improve our ability in forex trading and if you could win the contest so it means that your strategy was
good enough because it's not only few members who take part in the contest. Forex contest could give you prize which is not few

Contests have many advantages for the participant who is a forex trader and not a gambler. If I have a new strategy that can be profitable to me, I can test it in the contest and per chance I might win a prize. Now that prize can further be compounded using this new strategy and if it is good it means a steady source of income from another forex account and the strategy can be implemented on any existing trading account for better profits.
