We must make strategies and so we can make the right trade. and it depends on your own trading style if you are a scalper you will use a shorter period of time and if you are a day trader you will use 30 minutes or more, the right approach for day traders is to see the daily and 4 hour charts if both are in the same condition. direction from 1 hour trading. in that direction only and to brokers see 1 hour or 30 minutes and 5 minutes and 15 minutes. in the same direction for a better approach, you can add one 200 sma also

I think that's totally depend upon you and upon you trading experience i saw a lot of traders which are doing very short trades or making very short
positions and they earning a lot of money in that short time period i also one of them i don't like long positions running from the last few days.
