because the range is large and highly volatile movements
but for some of today's movement is very abnormal

yep you are right since a few days now it has become horrific to trade in eur/usd, u can never even predict that the buy or sell you have punched will fall back and go for the opposite way, no matter that sl is there to save but still thoda loss toh ho hi jata hai, during some time the trend goes smoth but then suddenly it will start off wayward again
